Don't see how anyone can say it's a win win, West Ham are completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Will be 100% behind them tonight, although I've not much hope considering their last 4 matches against Liverpool have ended 4-0, 4-1, 4-1, & 4-0.
Liverpool has more of a chance to double their goal tally then even having to take a draw tonight.

Arsenal and Chelsea are rivals, West Ham arn't really.

Yes there's spice between the fans but honestly anybody not hoping for the Cretins to win tonight I find bizarre.

Liverpool have to go Old Trafford in two weeks. Losing tonight would be absolutely massive imo.
Personally I think Chelsea's claim on rivalry is purely temporary and they will gradually fall to their true level again.:)

I’ve never seen West Ham as a rival. Beating them brings some more pleasure than beating, say, Southampton, because West Ham fans are, well, you know, but in the greater scheme of things I find them to be quite unimportant, just a club from whom we cherry picked their best players for decades, ranging from Peters to Kanoute, Carrick and Defoe to Scott Parker most recently. Once you get past Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Chelsea, maybe City and Everton, I don’t overly hold ill feeling towards any club.

We are their cup final, but really, truly, honestly they are not ours. Don't care what they do, they are so irrelevant to us as rivals and in terms of league positions.

Was delighted they beat Arsenal, will be delighted if they get points off Liverpool tonight.

Absolutely this. When we lose to the Spammers it bothers me more than most defeats, but when they’re not playing us I couldn’t care less if they win. I find it amusing when West Ham really fuck up and I can’t stand Karren Brady but the idea that a Liverpool win tonight would be enjoyable in our current league position just doesn’t strike a chord with me at all.

I'll let you into a secret if you promise not to tell anyone else on SC, I like West Ham so there.

Really?
Irrelevant to our position yes but they are a local rival, not much of one granted but they are, so I don't wanna see them win.
However if they do then great.
If Liverpool wipe the floor with them they'll be hilarious.
If they get a draw then lovely.
Thats my view but each to his own.

What do we as a club gain if West Ham win?

Could not give less of a shit about West Ham, never in my entire lifetime as a Spurs fan have they been a threat to us. Don't understand why people care whether they win or lose, they have always been utterly hopeless.

Though their fans are idiots, they have had a few decent players over the years. Di Canio obviously, Defoe, Rio, Joe Cole was one of the better England players at the time, Lampard came through there, Carrick. Even now I like Anderson, think he's got something about him. Won't be there much longer, much much too good for them.

And although he does get a laugh at times, I do feel for Andy Carroll due to his injury problems. Had he stayed fit, he would be a good option to lump it up to as the game wears down.

If they're at it, a Monday night fixture could be difficult for Liverpool.

And actually, I like Brady on the Apprentice. Very blunt, one liners that shut those idiot candidates up thinking they're the bee's knees.

As much as I hate West Ham I will be cheering them on tonight.... and if they get smashed ( as I suspect they will) then I can still enjoy that :).

Mainly because most of their fans are deluded ****s who think they’re on a par with us.

I used to have a soft spot for them when I was a teenager and always thought if Spurs ever folded, I could follow them. Then I worked in an area full of West Ham fans for a long time and can honestly say that they’re a different breed as a fan base. Their group mentality when it comes to delusion is only beaten by Liverpool’s, funnily enough.

That said, I want nothing but a West Ham win tonight. I’ll be more than happy to hear them going on about it on social media before they lose to Dog & Duck FC the following game, as they tend to do.

I do have fond memories of Liverpool playing away in London on a Monday night. The Palace game always makes me giggle. Praying for something similar tonight.

I was going to type the shortened version of ‘come on you irons’ but I vomited over myself halfway through, so I’ll just wish them the best of luck instead.

"COME... ON... YOUR... IRON"

Genuinely not sure how my mind made the jump from vomiting on a keyboard to jizzing onto a household appliance.

I can't find it within myself to want WHUL to win, but I do hope that Liverpool lose.

So if the Scousers do lose tonight I will be chuffed and pretend not to notice who they were playing.

My hatred for West ham was ingrained at an early age... I wish nothing but abject failure for them....

Oh... And my college has just gone in to partnership with them. Makes me retch.

Can both teams go into a mass brawl and get all players sent off resulting in the game being abandoned and both docked points.

A thread on KUMB a couple of weeks ago was asking whether they would take finishing 7th in the PL or winning the FA Cup.

Some now think 17th would be good

The other good thing about a win for them tonight, will be it'll convince their fans that their assault on the top 4 is back on.
