Jumping the gun a bit. Beating United at OT is an achievement but not every manager that does gets a MOTM award. The two wins against Reading and QPR weren't really emphatic. The league cup win was against a League One side. We've started slowly and now playing well but not so well as to be some miracluous turn-around.

I think maybe Moyes are Clarke would be a better shout.

They only played 3 games, 2 wins 1 Draw. Due to their game with Reading brought forward to accommodate Super Cup game. Spurs played one more, and won it. Its surely AVBs.

Had we beaten Norwich and put QPR to the sword it would of been a closer shout IMO.

They always give it to the manager of the side who got the most points so if that's us then it's AVB's. The press will say it's a big.turnaround for a manager who was under huge pressure and had 3 games to save his job blah blah. I'm sure they'll find some other negative slant like the only decent side we played was ManU

If anything Clarke deserves iit more than Moyes. Both had similar results, but Clarke does it with team of less resources and he actually beat Moyes at the Hawthorns.

AVB has all the merits though. Cruised to the next round of the league cup, and undefeated in the league with 3 wins and a draw, including a historic win at Old Trafford. It's a joke if they don't give it to AVB

I wouldn't be surprised if Brendan bloody Rogers got it.

I have no way of justifying that as its totally unjustified. But still - I wouldn't be surprised at all.

i dont think rodgers deserves it though in terms of performance results
they choose the manager based on points won
rodgers hasnt won more point than AVB this month
but he has turned liverpool around it seems so thats good for him
i guess we're a bit more fortunate that we ended up with AVB than rodgers
at the moment at least
