Ello there,
I made a statement earlier with regards to DL flying out to Spain. I've still not found out if it was true, and I haven't checked around the forum to see if anyone got to the bottom of it, sorry!
I've seen a few papers linking us with Wolfswinkel, completely false and we have no interest in signing him.
As you're all aware we had a bid for Parker turned down, not sure why HR rates him so much, DL and a few others think the same as most of us.
The whole Llorente situation is a bit confusing to be honest. I was told we did indeed put a bid in for him, which was returned to us in a short space of time, with a defining "NO!" but I've heard we put a similar bid back in for him, with a few "add ons" which will most certainly interest their president.
DL will hear back from them tomorrow afternoon as to whether it's been accepted or not. We have no idea what to expect.
If we don't pull this deal off, it's likely that we won't bring anyone in until the summer.
Sorry I couldn't bring any better news, espcially since we had a sh*t result today
