A not "top four" club winning the League cup has taken a Uefa cup spot away from the team finishing 7th or 8th.... Lets hope it's the Spammers!!!

I'm guessing not. I think the primary purpose of being in the Intertoto cup is to gain qualification into the UEFA cup. We have done that already through our heroics on Sunday, so probably wont bother persuing the Intertoto route now.
I don't think we were guaranteed a place in the Intertoto cup anyway. Doesn't the applicant who finishes highest in the league outside of the UEFA cup places get in?

We definitely won't be in the Intertoto (Praise be), and no, the league won't get another spot if we win the UEFA Cup, as that was an extra space, only created if we win this but nothing else.

Could be mistaken on the 2nd bit but think thats right.
