Now the question is, will he get his chance under Jose given his track record of playing Youth
At minimum he'll be able to go on loan now, assuming the experiment of having the most talented youngsters train with the seniors but never play at any level ever is ended.

It’ll be a lucky club that gets him, what level?

His chance of making it in the first team hasn't change. As someone else pointed out though, his chance of getting game time has increased so not bad at all for him

I'm only an occasional youth watcher so this is massive pinch of salt territory. But I'd be tempted to take it slowly and give him a few months at the top of League One. In my opinion it's not technical or physical development he needs, he's got talent in abundance in those areas. It's experience in the senior game, and the pressures that come with it, especially while challenging at the top end. So even though he's talented enough for the Championship, I feel like he might be better off either a rung below or getting time off the bench and in smaller games for us

Didn’t do Kane any harm.

Send him to Wycombe. Parrott and Akinfenwa up top would be glorious.

I think now is not the time to debate whether he'll get a chance or not. Important thing is to salvage this season and then we need to rely on our senior players.

Sometimes a fresher, eager face is exactly what you need to revitalise a squad though.
