I hope we appeal, and push for a fair bid process
I don't let them have it.

Yeah! who needs extra match day revenue, more corperate facilitys, better transport links and higher allocation for those waiting for a ST.

Did anyone really think we were going to win this bid let alone the court case, imo Levy is doing this so that he can make NDP cheaper as newham council would never choose us over west ham
It wasn't Newham Council's decision, but I always found it slightly strange that Newham didn't want both West Ham and Tottenham in the borough, at least it shows they're not all about the money and they have some principles, a lesson Mr Levy could do with learning. Or maybe West Ham were just offering the largest brown envelopes.
I know that it wasn't newham council decision but a article prior to selection stated that some members had links to the council and also newham council had more to gain if west ham won than Tottenham

I think that it shows that local authorities don't have incentive to grow their business base, for one thing.

Its strange isnt it. Surely having 2 clubs in the same borough would have massive financial rewards. But maybe they are worried about losing votes if they let us in to the borough
As if we're going to just forget about the corrupt bidding process.
His beef should be with West Ham and the OPLC!
Here we go, our appeal will cost the economy £100m. You don't need to be Rumpole of the Bailey to see which way the wind's blowing on this one...
