Levy should email the league every day until they give us the goal and admit the lino's a ****, super troll mode from DL.

Poch not making very much of it:

"I thought the officials got confused about the late disallowed goal for Jan Vertonghen, because it was a goal.

Lloris, Stambouli, Eriksen played v well

Rose, Dembele, Kane, Verts, Dier played well

Walker, Chadli played ok

Townsend did well after coming on

In fact it's the best match I've personally watched Stambouli play

Adebayor played better in his 30 mins than Soldado did in his 60 mins IMO. Albeit that's damning with faint praise.

Yeah you cant say it was a great cameo from Adebayor, but he did win two or three knockdowns (one of which Walker hilariously made a mess of) and was at least involved in the game a bit.

Did he give it because there weren't two players between Jan and the goal? Or does that not apply in your own half?

A player CANNOT be in an offside position if he receives the ball IN HIS OWN HALF of the field of play. That is Rule 11 of the Laws Of The Game. Period !!!

Considering he hasn't had a lot of playing time recently, he did really well. Looks so much more comfortable at CB, too.
He's already more composed than verts. Such a level head for his age. Got that calmness and assuredness kane has.

Don't agree. He is very weak in the challenge. Needs to be stronger to play deeper. It only works late in the game because the opposition are tiring so there is more space to operate in.
Do you know he's talking about Dier?

I really think some of the guys need to be working on their end product. The likes of Walker need to really improve their delivery and decision making when in them advanced positions.

That pathetic decision from the linesman might not just come back to haunt us. Imagine if some team ends up getting relegated because Sunderland have a better goal difference by one?

I can understand that mistakes get made, but clearly that official is too stupid to exist.
Something tells me our goal difference won't be a deciding factor....

Phil Thompson just said that the linesman deserves to be nailed for that decision,

Haven't heard anything else about it really. BBC have hardly mentioned it on their site barring one mention on the live feed.

Sounds to me like the linesman couldn't wait for the opportunity to show off by knowing the obscure legalities of the offside rule when the keeper is out of his goal, only to make a complete tit of himself when he got excited. ****. Luckily it didn't bite us in the balls

Have Stambouli and Mason played together yet? It's a partnership I wouldn't mind seeing when Mason's back. Obviously it depends how Algeria get on in the Afcon.
