Please lets be in good voice for our first home game. Shaqiri surely has to go straight into their squad. Will be a tough game this but surely we'll be out to impress our fans. 1-0 scrape!! Kane.

My first game of the season. I rarely get to go but now I'm back in London and working hopefully can go a bit more often this season.

Tough game. Looking to improve our performance from last year. Worried we may struggle to score. My heart says 2-0 to us but could see a 1-1 or 0-1. Haven't a clue really, not one for the betting coupon methinks.

Woop!

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino: "I'm happy with keeper Hugo Lloris (wrist) and midfielder Alex Pritchard (ankle). Last week Danny Rose had a little injury, but this week all players are fit." :playful:

I just hope we don't go with the Dier/Dembele experiment again.

Would rather we risk Dell Alli in his natural position than Dier out of position.

I thought Stoke looked pretty poor on Sunday, looked well off the pace.

Good atmosphere and no reason why we shouldn't see a good performance and hopefully picking up all three points.

Optimistic as ever, shades of the 4-0 QPR game back in the sunshine last August spring to mind lol.

I'll go 3-0. Kane and Chadli brace.

Was just about to say, Stoke looked poor at home and we looked very good away from home imo. I think we will out in a good performance and win.

If we score early and the crowd get behind the team we could be in for a good result, if not and they score early or first we will be fucked and it will be an awful start :( COYS.

Thank god Shawcross is ruled out.

I hate that guy and how he man handles everyone in the box and gets away with it game after game. Important player for them too, will be a big miss.

Allis natural position isn't DM though, I know diers isn't either that is our problem ATM.
Expect benteleb and mason in midfield

I thought he was pretty poor vs Real Madrid - for the 45min
And thought it was a disaster when he was named in the lineup vs Man Utd
But after watching the full match 2 days or so later, he actually wasn't that bad. He wasn't amazing, but did a decent job (assuming his job was to break up play, tackle, shield the back four and head the ball out of the box). He didn't do much passing other than to nearby teammates, but then we never expected him to.

And so against Stoke, given the way they used to like to play he might not be a terrible choice.
