There are so many protests about Andros's shooting that I'm willing to bet he'll score in the second half!

There's a big case to protest over his shooting... Until he's mastered his technique a la Bale, he needs to limit himself to how many shots he's taking. Several times simply squaring the ball would of been potentially more fruitful.

Townsend has huge confidence in himself, and has said himself he wants to reach the pinnacle of football. I think he's a GOOD player, but slightly delusional. He will never be that good.

This run and shoot business seems to come from a mind-set where he thinks he can be the new Bale. It's wasteful, and costing us chances. Bring on Lamela.

Will add, that I like Townsend as a player - I'm not knocking him. A good performance against a small Eastern European side, shouldn't mean he starts in front of an Argentinian international forward, that the biggest clubs in world football have been sniffing around for years though.

I think Townsend could become a really top player. I'm not sure how, I'll leave that to AVB. But he's got the pace, skill, and shot I think he just needs to become more efficient.

Bales goals were spectacular and were our saving grace last season, but I would prefer if we could consistently score more of these team goals, with the odd spectacular thrown in too, of course!
