No team should be losing like that at home, despite whether it's City or not.

Shameful performance.

2 and 8 strikes again!!

Harry is always reminding us that we had 2 points from 8 games when he came.

Perhaps we should remind him we have conceded 8 goals in 2 games.

and we look like we are in a right 2 and 8

just shambolic...in all areas..seems to me all the fight, team spirit and belief has gone. Parker please, keep wilson and sell modric.

This. There is no point in keeping Modric if he's heads not right and our team lack fight

Embarrassing, played off the park at home. What a difference a year makes.

..and to think there were some people here laughing at the purchase of dzeko last season!

With a bit of fucking ambition players like dzeko and Suarez could have been signed last summer. We had cl football!! They are now ripping up tr league and we are chasing bellamy! Joke joke joke

City played like a team. We played like individuals. City were unselfish. We were greedy. City had movment and pace. We were slow and static. City had players who can take chances. We had Crouch and Bale. But worst of all, and none of this is to do with them being better players and costing bajillions, City had workrate and were organised. We were terribly organised and didn't give a shit defensively. That's the most worrying thing.

Funny thing is, basically this time last year we were all over City and just missed that killer instinct. Roll on twelve months and the gulf in class is huge which of course can be attributed to further spend by City and injuries for us but nevertheless, the gulf is there.

TBF we out played them at their place last season as well for large periods....

Really need to be beat Wolves away now, or we'll be trying to play catch up in a very unforgiving and competitive League Eek

Buy players pre-season so they can actually play once the season starts.
6 points gone already, who knows how important they will be come season end.
Still could have been worse, we could have lost to Everton as well.

Totally agree, lets get rid and fucking move on, some sort of rebuild is needed here. If he doesnt want to play for us then get shot of him ffs.

Games like that where we could do with Sandro and Parker making the spine with Modric out wide. We just gave them far too much space throughout and weren't tenacious enough. Our wingers literally did nothing

I hope Levy responds to this result. The next few days will tell us everything about our ambition. We need some big news to kick start the season. Adebayor will add a great deal up top. Lets hope he hits the ground running even though he has had no pre-season. VDV managed to do it last season so you never know.

I'm just glad these 2 results have happened now with plenty of time to get things right. We have plenty of injuries right now and even Modric isn't 100% coming off an injury. I'm not using it as an excuse for todays result because we should've done a lot better. But we aren't that bad and we have so much better to come as yet this season.
