Is there anyone on here with a FA coaching badge, to let me know what are Skipps attributes ?
that puts him central midfield for a club like Tottenham

please, please tell me what coaches have seen that got him to where he's at, in his playing career ?

Don't really want to draw parallels with other Cup games of recent years but it's undeniable that 'positive(ish) start peters out against inferior but motivated opposition before sucker punch in the 78th minute' is looking a little too familiar for comfort.

How many times does Lo Celso need to get fouled?

Fouls:Bookings for and against for us has to be horrendous.

Skipp is an academy product that should be sold, like Winks and Carroll before him. He has done alright but should be moved on for both parties. Donely couldn’t do any less than he has that half.
Skipp was the promised one. He was supposed to be the next great midfield academy product after so many false dawns in the shape of Carroll, Mason and Winks. He may actually be the worst of the lot.

Don’t think we lot THAT bad. Hasn’t been the most exciting match but we’re creating chances. Always going to be disjointed with the amount of players we’re missing. Still think we’ll do enough to win it.

They are defending so deep with a packed midfield, Ball needs to go fast from side to side and bolt down the wing. 1-2 touch football, but we look lathargic Burnley seem to have a lot more energy.

This unfortunately looks like a 0-0 rematch or 0-1 on a counter :(

Got the ball in the final 3rd enough. Just quality of touch or shot is lacking. That and decision making.

Even Porro has been off with his deliveries. Absolutely dominated possession and Johnson if he can sort his end product out will be a real threat. He stretched them time and time again the first half hour.

Skipp. Offers nothing.
Our front three need to do better but this is a big problem.

Not timing runs well, not effective in and around penalty area.

This is where we miss Maddison as Skipp either plays deeper or not at all.

Lo Celso and Bentancur are too deep

Oh 1,000% I’d take Carroll, Mason and Winks over Skipp all day every day and twice on Sundays. For a start they were all capable of passing the ball 5 yards under some sort of pressure.
