Tottenham are lining up a move for Swansea defender Alfie Mawson which would see midfielder Joshua Onomah join the Welsh side on loan, according to the Telegraph.

Ridiculous idea. Who the hell would come on for the last three minutes of every game?

I seriously do not like the sound of this. It doesn't make sense at all , Onomah is ready to be used more in games. How the hell they come up with this figure of 30 million is as well ridiculous.

Calling bullshit. Poch hasn't loaned him out the last two seasons why would he now.

The only thing I can think is that Onomah hasn't come on as much as Poch hoped whilst at Spurs so he's thinking of trying a loan to help him kick-on.

It's only worthwhile doing if he's going to get game time though.

I guess it's just Matt Law's speculation about Onomah in Telegraph. Can't be bothered until it's official.

Probably guff - altho a really lame, unsexy story to make up if so - but wouldn't surprise me for this reason

Unpopular on here I know as the guy's well liked but I've seen nothing from Poch to suggest Onomah is anywhere near to getting regular football.

Got about half an hour of pitch time across 4 competitions last season. The 2nd least minutes in the squad behind Lesniak, who's been released. That's less than half the PL minutes of N'koudou, 339 minutes less then Wimmer and 885 minutes less than Sissoko.

Sure he'll get more time but how much more? Loan could be a good thing as he seems to have stalled for club due to lack of opportunity while looking very good for England

I'd like to see Mawson join and keep Onomah because I think he's ghost got a lot to offer. May not get so much playing time but we can't have a good season with just 11 players.
