Except that Spurs seem to ALWAYS be the one bit by the injury bug. Reports that Capoue has broken fibula. Nice to have more quality depth this season but it just seems to be Spurs luck.

Pool wouldn't sell Suarez within the PL especially for 45 million. Chelsea wouldn't sell Mata to us. Ozil 45 million pounds?, put down the crack pipe.

Draxler and Reus are the only players that make sense currently and I would be doing back flips if we got either.

I'm sceptical about the reality of this latest ITK but if we dropping 45m on one player they'd have to both immediately slot into the team AND have the possibility of being sold for a Balesque figure at a later date. Mata, Falcao, Suarez are all too old to ever be sold for £100m now so it'd have to be El Shaarawy/Draxler/Reus/similar.

I don't think we're in trouble, but then I'm not 'expecting' top 4. I'm expecting top 6. As in minimum acceptable finish.

There are 5 excellent teams competing against us for those CL spots and I'll be thrilled if we get one, but with all the signings we've made and the transitional process that entails, I think expecting them to cruise to a top 4 spot is asking a lot.

We can, of course, do it. We have the quality to. I just hope everyone can be patient with AVB and those above if we don't quite manage this season.

I personally think ozil is grossly overrated, not in the same class as modric or fabregas in my opinion, will improve arsenal in that area but if we get our current team playing right we will be ok

i love eriksen. i don't know lamela but i like the deal, same with chiriches. i iiked capoue but now he only has one leg. it's the other three i have a problem with.

With the signings we have brought in and if we can get a left back, then we will be set and should be concentrating on what we could achieve.

Okay, if Özil is actually available and for £40m, we need to step in and take over from these advanced talks with Arsenal. After what Real Madrid have done to us the last 2 years regarding Bale and Modric they had better be choosing us over Arsenal when it comes to moving on their players. What else is this friendship supposed to be about?
