As much as I hate Suarez as a person, if it happened it would be tremendous business from a pure football standpoint.

Basically swapping Bale for Suarez (who some would say was Bale's equal in BPL last year), Lamela, and Eriksen. Crazy.

Perhaps, but after just pocketing a cool 100million Euro's and buying on the last day, I'd say waver we get in will be at an inflated price.

Although Grey Fox did allude that this deal might have been worked on for weeks so that would infer it would be Real Madrid related and comes back to Ozil and Di Maria.

Got to be someone of that ilk. Be interested to see if it is pulled off. Even if not, this has still been a great window of business.

This. Haven't we been told that a formal bid is pretty much one of the last few stages in negotiation? Even if we've had a bid turned down, it suggests to me that we've at least been chatting with them about it.

I agree that Mata is a no-go. Chelsea doesn't need the money and has absolutely no reason to sell to us. The Willian thing, even back to Modric. Makes no sense to sell to a rival and make us stronger.

whilst Draxler would be fantastic and is great, I dont think many people have heard of him and so wouldnt be under a general jaw dropping transfer.. but definitely would make my jaw drop

I'd be very surprised if its is Suarez. Pool have already stated that his price is £55m when l'Arse bid on him & Gerrard has said (today I think) that they wouldn't be a step up.

Also, with a lot of these Worldies, please remember that Man U, Arse & Chelsea are all still active in the market and have CL footy. I would expect them to be higher up on most Worldies' list of desireable clubs than us.

I remember the LFC owner making a press release to the sorts that they would not be selling Suarez at ANY price and certainly not to a rival in the league. so forget that one. I actually have very little faith in the Goats info on this occasion. a truck load of salt and all that.
