According to Telegraph the deal for Davies and Vorm is £5m and Sigurdsson so with Siggys value that would make Vorm priced at around £3m.

Yep, I'm sure he'll be fretting over the performance of a handful of players who will either be gone or warming the bench during the season, after our first pre-season friendly of the year in warm weather on an astroturf pitch against a team in the middle of their season.

I was at the game, and believe me he has more to worry about. Pre-season or not, against a team already at high fitness levels, some of the effort that was put in by the Spurs team was dire. Even at half pace you would think that Dawson could pass a ball ten feet or so to a player in the same coloured shirt, likewise Capoue, and Townsend. Aside from Holtby, who was very good in attack and defence there appeared to be a genuine passing of the guard for some playing, a sort of acceptance of being put in the shop window. Pity that their game reflected a Woolies shop window and not Harrods.

He doesn't, I thought the same as you reading it for the first time, but the Journo is writing about the talks advancing with the saints not about Schneiderlin being a forward.

You are spot on, I stand corrected.

Yep, good spot!
Would love this to be true for two reasons. First is that for him to snub a CL competing club with a distinguished coach in charge in favor of us with Poch at the helm tells me that we've got a very promising coach on board who already inspires confidence in his ability among players. I mean when was the last time we had a player snub a CL club for us especially considering they need someone of his ilk there?

Secondly if we do have a deal in the works for him it would mean that we can finally offload Sandro. In all honesty i love his loyalty and commitment to this club but he's just too one dimensional for the premier league. I would think Italy would be a much better fit for him considering how much more tactical the game there is. IMO having Schneiderlin and Capoue as our DMs would be an improvement on our current squad. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if it has been discussed recently, but what are peoples thoughts on splashing cash on a back up keeper.....................?

Gonna try change the subject.. Who's gonna be our new CB? Lovren to Pool it seems, and for £20M I'm okay with that. But who else is interesting for us?

Sandro One-dimensional for the Premier League? Rubbish! He's one of the best defensive midfielders in the League. He also offers an attacking edge. I really don't understand this kind of comment. Maybe there's another Sandro that people are talking about? It seems to me that that there's some kind of effort to poison supporters against Sandro. Has Sandro done something to upset Levy? Is his Agent bucking for a move and some cash?

Sandro is one of Spurs best players.

If I were Pochettino, i'd have taken one look at the squad and amongst other things said: 'I need a back up keeper.'

He's learnt the hard way too as when Boruc was injured last year, his mate Gazzaniga came in and conceded 15 goals in 7 1/2 games whilst looking generally poor. With ambition, we can afford no weak links.

Also it might show that we have a manger who has learnt from his mistakes. That's a great thing.

I agree with this for the most part, but Eriksen is another player who snubbed CL offers for us.
