Does anyone fancy going to the effort of making a list from everyone's suggestions? Ideally linked to the players profile on transfermarket or something?

If someone does, we'll keep the first post updated with it :)
Great suggestion. My 406 children keep me occupied (I’m currently laying on the floor in the dark in the youngest one’s bedroom, putting him back in bed every time he tries to leave the room because he refuses to recognise concepts like bedtime) but this kind of info keeps me going in the darker hours of bedtime brinkmanship with a five year old

Ive not followed la liga this season much but id love banega as a stop gap for a couple of seasons. A different type of player than eriksen but with a ball winner beside him he would be great for us.
As for a forward type player its either brooks or zaha for me. Id lean towards zah personally because he draws sooo many players towards him that kane alli and son would have more space to devistate.

Banega and zaha.....thanks levy.

If we're looking for a RB (and I'm sure we are) then Nice's Youcef Atal should be right at the top of the list. Lad has the attacking ability of a top level winger and some of the best defensive stats (tackles, interceptions and pressures) in all of Ligue 1.

Ticks all the boxes including maybe most importantly: affordability.

Absolutely amazing dribbling ability with elite pace and explosiveness:

Continuing with the Leverkusen theme I think Brandt could be a second Son and would gladly replace Moura and Lamela with him

Brandt is very good. But he's Leverkusen's 3rd best attacker. Havertz and Leon Bailey should be higher up the list. Like Brandt, Bailey is a wide attacker. But his delivery (especially at set pieces), pace, dribbling and creativity is miles ahead of Brandt's. The latter is a slightly better finisher at this moment in time.

Bailey's going through some bad form atm, but we should see this as an opportunity to perhaps get him a little cheaper than if he had managed to maintain the blistering form of the last two years.

All aboard the Havertz bandwagon.

David Button to replace Vorm
Neves to replace Wanyama
Mitrovic to replace Llorente

IF KWP isn’t deemed good enough, Aarons to replace either Trippier or Aurier.
IF Edwards isn’t deemed good enough, Jack Clarke to replace Nkoudou.

All of the above assumes we won’t be losing Eriksen, Alderweireld or any other regular starters.
Button won't sign to not even be sat on the bench and being 3rd choice.

Neves agent = Mendes = Levy wouldn't touch

Mitrovic won't want to sit on the bench, that was why he left Newcastle

good choices for what we need, just need to find players accepting/willing to be on the bench

Well, if we lose Eriksen, I’d be expecting some sort of response from the club. Why not Brooks AND Zaha?

Should Eriksen be on his way and Levy unwilling to spend the 50-60 million that Brooks, Havertz or Fekir would cost us, then we could certainly do a lot worse than Hoffenheim's Kerim Demirbay.

Below is a year old video but he has taken a huge step forward this season. Has been perhaps the dominant player in the bundesliga. Two footed, technically excellent playmaker who is also a real goal scoring threat and works very hard in defense:

We 100% shouldn’t be signing players who are willing to be on the bench. That is how we got to have a bunch of players we can’t shift. We need to sign players who expect to challenge a first teamer for their place. More Wanyama and Sanchez, less GKN and Janssen.

Some great suggestions in here... and ones that are needed - striker, RB, midfield...

One thing I have wanted to see for a few years is a midfield general and team leader (i.e. new skipper). In times where the team is struggling, we need that guy in the middle who can rev the team up and grab the game by the scruff of the neck. I'm just not convinced Lloris is the right man to get the team going when needed. Let him be the club captain or whatever.

You can all go nuts on exactly who that player is - as I don't really know the market at the moment. I just feel that is a high priority.

His teammate Leonardo Bittencourt used to get lots of mentions on transfer forums - he moved to Hoffenheim this past summer for €6mil. I guess he's not quite living up to the expectations and hype from his days at Dortmund?
