Brooks would be my top target now to replace Eriksen, but it's going to be an extremely difficult and expensive deal to do. It's probably somewhat unrealistic now unfortunately. Maybe throwing in Onomah to any deal could help, I think Howe would quite like him and he plays in the same position as Brooks mostly.

I don't even know if we're still looking for a forward who can play wide and fill in up front when Kane is out. And I'll admit right away that I haven't seen him play except for a France u19 game a couple of years ago in which al couple of flashes of talent were all he showed....but by all accounts Marcus Thuram(21,son of Lilian, so the genetics are there) has been coming on in leaps and bounds.

A Pochettino prototype player: outstanding athlete with fantastic pace and explosiveness in a powerful, 6'4 frame. Very strong dribbling ability. Very good in the air. Productivity has improved despite playing on one of the worst attacking teams in France. Of course he would be risk, but with a huge upside and if we're unwilling to cough up the kind of money the Keita Baldes, Malcoms and Pulisics cost, we're going to have to look at this type of player. Although I can't remember many players with his mix of size, explosiveness and dribbling ability....maybe a Stan Collymore? Or one might take a dimmer view of him and say....David N'Gog? That's probably a good call actually, high ceiling, but low floor.

Hmmm am I the only one who thinks Brooks is more of an Alli type of player rather than one who could replace Eriksen

Button won't sign to not even be sat on the bench and being 3rd choice.

Neves agent = Mendes = Levy wouldn't touch

Mitrovic won't want to sit on the bench, that was why he left Newcastle

good choices for what we need, just need to find players accepting/willing to be on the bench
It is a wish list after all.

One player I do like, though not in a position we overly require, is Ryan Fraser.

Well, if someone like Mitrovic from relegated Fulham is unattainable to be back up to Harry, we might as we give Llorente another year to buy Parrott time to develop. And if Button is unattainable (though he’d probably more than double his earnings taking Vorms salary compared to his current package), the time to promote a youth as having three non hg goalies is ridiculous. As for Mendes, he probably is beyond our reach so going all out for Berge or another player with a high ceiling is a must.

His teammate Leonardo Bittencourt used to get lots of mentions on transfer forums - he moved to Hoffenheim this past summer for €6mil. I guess he's not quite living up to the expectations and hype from his days at Dortmund?

Bittencourt is a solid player. But not our level. Demirbay would be a very solid replacement for CE. Slightly different type of playmaker, but would offer everything that CE does.

As suggested by @Rob , here's a list of suggestions so far, broken down by position. I've lumped in DMs with CMs and AMs with Wingers. Positions are as described on Transfermarkt. Surnames are links to the player's Transfermarkt profile page.

EDIT: Updated list further down.

Would love Donnaruma from Milan to eventually take over Lloris, no chance we’ll pay what they want

as you say it's a wish list, I have loads of wishes, and have got used to them never happening. as long as you won't be disappointed because the reasons I gave will be the reason I don't expect them to come.

HG 3rd choice is going to be the hardest, because Poch wants 1 that he can trust if anything happens that gave Gazzaniga his chances.

would love 1 of the youngsters to get the opportunity to step up for cover for Kane, but if we are going to buy, we need to find someone similar to Sonny. I'd not be shocked if we introduce Parrott and used Son and Moura (preferably Son) as cover.

I like Ryan Frazer too

He's a red card waiting to happen
I thought in the game against us he was so determined to fight and win with Sanchez that he pretty much forgot about the game in the second half - too busy winning his personal battle to win the war.
