You have to look at it and think that if we don’t get champions league then we will be consistently 6th from now on. It’s scary how quickly we have suddenly needed 6-8 players in this team.
New:
GK
CB (when Toby leaves)
LB
RB
CM x2
Winger
Back up CF

If we don’t get champions league we will miss out on a lot of money and the very notion of any top player joining would be laughable with the wages we would pay. Think we may be at the start of a number of years in the Europa again unfortunately. Let’s see if these players can actually win a game on Wednesday and try and get top 4 by the pure luck of it.

Also hate to say it but if we miss out on Champs league then I truly wouldn’t begrudge Kane looking for a move. He is a truly world class player and if the club are not willing to match his ambition then I wouldn’t hold it against him to push for a move to Real Madrid.

Interesting / worrying times ahead for us Spurs fans. Could be that team with an amazing stadium but being mid table....!

I can’t think of it being spent anywhere better. Replace the person who costs you points more than anyone else.
Every keeper makes mistakes though, just ask any fan of any club.

I think the way teams are carving through our midfield is more of the problem.

We're conceding a hell of a lot if chances on our goal at the moment and that is not the fault of Lloris.

Just to add I'm all for bringing in a new keeper to challenge Lloris but I feel a big money replacement is not the best use of our money at the moment.

Us supporters are not going to be paying top ticket prices to finish mid table levy and co don't and won't have that, but they must invest a lot heavier than they have done if they want this manager to achieve because everything is there now infustructure wise it's the team on the pitch that needs to match the rest.

Don't worry well get the usual stories being fed from the club of untold riches, war chests, season ticket waiting lists and lessons learnt around season ticket renewal dates and as usual the masses will lap it up and renew. Cant believe that people haven't cottoned on to it as of yet. Whats the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice etc. etc.

We just have to hope the club want to really push on especially if we don't make top four that of course will affect the budget well for us it does

I think it's increasingly clear that next season is going to be a tough, transitional affair with a few big name departures coupled with areas of concern.

Start from the back and work our way through and try and establish that Poch press once more - this is now a rebuild job

It does feel like rebuild time. There are significant issues across the squad.

It needs refreshing. Even if we replaced like for like in terms of quality, the freshness and new energy alone will give us a boost.

I think you are looking at the essentials as being; Goalkeeper, Centre Back, Right Back, Left Back, Centee Midfield x2, Attacking Midfielder/Winger and Striker. While that is 8 players in one window, it is actually 8 players on 3 windows which i expect is still less than average.

Lloris criticism insane. People are replacing the question « how good is Lloris? » with « what instances can I remember of him losing us points? »

All goalkeepers lose their team points and Lloris is no different. Lloris also stopped us losing at home to Arsenal, played a blinder against Dortmund, made a crucial save today on TAA etc etc

He’s a great player and there are other areas we will find it much easier to upgrade.

Also Foyth, I know he’s had some rough patches but he genuinely does look a player

There is a player in there somewhere for sure. All about the mistakes though. I’m sick of seeing mistakes being made by our defenders constantly. Most of them go unpunished too!

I know he makes mistakes, but when we bought him he had only played about 8 professional games, it takes time to become a good player

Very true. He’s not played a great deal of football for a 21 year old. He’s stuck behind Sanchez too which is a tad worrying imo. I wouldn’t be surprised if he left, for his own sake if nothing else.
