I really hope we go all out for ruben neves from wolves. The central midfielder we crave in my opinion. Portuguese also means he will be able to communicate with Poch easily.

Poch speaks Spanish. Anyway that's not the reason we'd buy him. I am secretly hoping Onomah Edwards and Walker-Peters come through and we go hard for Grealish.

Tyler Adams - I think he has played every position, except keeper for Leipzig

Assist today

In Adams' 8 starts as a 6, RB have 7 win, 1 draw 19-1 goal differential

Adams is the real deal. Even when he was still in NY it was clear this kid was special. I think Adams (even over Pulisic and McKennie and Sargent) is going to be the biggest name for the US going forward. Not that I think he’d leave Leipzig in the summer, but shifting Wanyama for Adams would be solid move imo.

Liecester close to agreeing 40m fee for Tielemans. Would be good at spurs but 40mil is serious wedge

We should be all over this. 4 assists in 7 games in the Prem. Very different to Eriksen but seems to carry real danger in the final 3rd with key passes. Makes so much sense (so won’t happen).

Would be a perfect fit for us unfortunately I can’t see it happening

It really isn't in the post Neymar transfer market. Sadly it's that mentality by our hierarchy that's held us back the last few years. Refusing to pay the asking price then settling for 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice dross that has added the square root of fuck all to our team/squad. Continue with that policy and we will be left even further behind. Read this and tell me if these current owners have any real desire to improve us ON THE PITCH not off it.....?

"You cannot compare (Liverpool and Tottenham),"
"When he [Klopp] arrived at Liverpool, it was only about focussing to try to build a team to be able to compete and be a real contender with other teams.

"Our philosophy is completely different and we cannot compare our two projects, they are on a completely different level.

"In the last two transfer windows we cannot sign one player, it is like we are banned like has happened with some clubs now!
"Because we are focussed on different things, that is why we are different, and we must be focussed on operating in different ways, but always being competitive as football is the most important thing in this company.
"Because they have an unbelievable squad (they are challenging for the title) and they are a team who every season were adding more quality. So it is normal that Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea were building to win and be a real contender."

With all due respect, who the fuck is? We/MP seems to turn his nose up at every midfielder, if reports are to be believed, and then the few we do show interest in our owners have no intention of signing by refusing to pay the asking price. Our hardball tactics may have worked back in the early UEFA cup days but the market has moved on since then and we've been left behind just like on the pitch.....

He might have already turned him down but that doesn’t mean it was a good decision.

Poch’s transfer record really isn’t that great so it doesn’t mean he was right re Tielemans (it’s his player development where he obviously really excels).

Having been to the new stadium yesterday, it's top class and surely will help us attract talent. It's hard to look past the last few windows of disappointment, but I think we'll sign 3-4 decent players this summer.
My perfect signing would still be Bale. The place would be electric if he returned.

If we sell Eriksen we need to spend all or almost all the fee on a world class premier league proven creative midfielder, we can’t try to replace on the cheap by spending his fee on 2 players. Luckily for us there is a candidate that fits the bill who looks like he will be available this summer, Coutinho.

Should we sign him ? Yes

Will we sign him ? No

As Poch said, stadium won’t be a factor in most players minds. It’s all down to the numbers. The fact that De Gea is thinking of leaving United to join PSG and play in a procession league becaus they’ll pay him more tells you everything about the bottom line these days.
