Terrible game but tense, so enjoyable. South Africa just about deserved it. Unlucky Wales but injuries and the way of playing was always going to catch up in the end. Better to lose now too in a way because unless England got dragged down to that level today, which is more than possible to be fair, then you’d have probably lost...which would have felt a million times worse than now.

Not especially. Assuming North and Francis were out of our team and would miss the final (along with Faletau, Anscombe, Navidi, Hill, Liam Williams) and the fact we’ve not been at our best this tournament I would e given us a 10/15% chance of beating England in a final and that would’ve been unbearable and odds I wouldn’t want to take.

SA have a much better chance of beating you.

Wales didn’t really have any other option. That’s similar to their style and Biggar doesn’t get a backline going all that well, and if anything, he’s weakness in defence along with AWJ looking like a mere mortal today has done for them ( in the game )
Injuries killed them too. When you look at the players on the pitch on the end Wales did brilliant to run Saffas so close.

Pretty much. The final against SA is pretty much 50/50. Like I said, against us it’s at best 80/20. If we had even 2 players back out of our 7 or 8 players that are injured I’d be willing to roll the dice.
