The right mix of fight and creativity there imo. Lennon has the potential to get in there but Anderton's assists were consistently at the top when he played.

Mad props for necrobumping a thread from 2009

I can't answer for the poster you quoted but in the 12 years since we've had two squads that have been the best collective teams we've had at Spurs in the PL era by a long, long way, the 2010-13 and 2015-19 squads with two really shit years in between.

Off the top of my head I'm going 3-4-3 for to fit in my formation

Rose was the only tricky one for me. I much preferred Jan as a player but it would be a stretch to say he was a consistent LB. Could have also gone with Benny for his cult greatness.
