Our recruitment has to be the worst in premier league. Our signings this summer have all flopped. I am not saying they won’t go on to prove decent but right now we have a 0% success rate. I don’t actually blame Levy for this, he has entrusted the scouting to others.

I don’t blame him for appointing Conte either as despite the concerns it was a decision that most agreed with and all could see the reasoning. However, the Stellini decision is just ridiculous, everyone could see it when it was made and he needs to own it now. He cannot just leave us in limbo till season ends. I think he has to make the managerial appointment in next week, even if it just an announcement of who is taking charge in summer.
If our recruitment is the worst in the league, why are two recent PL winners below us? (Liverpool & Chelsea)

The default response to any official Spurs tweets being the below image is actually a great use of the platform and a great way to easily get people behind a simple message. 👍

Sort of reminds of politics. People will give you the benefit of the doubt over and over, then at some point which is hard to predict that benefit and respect just drains away after the 50th screw up or lack or class.

Boris Johnson looked invincible for a time then all of a sudden the winds changed. Levy can in theory stay as long as he wants but he just looks like a lame duck these days, out of sync with the football world around him.

Blaming Levy for not signing Mac Allister 5 years ago, before he went to Brighton because we have a "strong Argentinian connection" is a new one. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm fully on the "I've had enough of Levy" side of things.

But we can still criticise using logic and common sense. Some of the attacks and criticisms are just dumb.

"We don't believe a thing you say!"

Honestly if you don't believe any of it then things will never change, because you won't accept the possibility of things changing. I get the history, and actions speak louder than words at this point, but this with Scott Munn is a start. At least give it a chance.
You said it yourself though - actions speak louder than words. People will start believing what he says when we see real life evidence of it.

I see John Weldon is negative repping you without having anything to say for himself. He does this so regularly I am surprised it is allowed by the Mods.
He gave me a like for saying something negative about Boehly. When this all blows over I look forward to going back to laughing at the Chavs.

Doesn't refunding fans and having fan representation at board level equate to an action.

Or is it not an action, unless its him leaving?

There's 22 paragraphs in that article and you've decided to focus on one minute point rather than the larger points being made.

Boring attempt to discredit the article.

I feel like we've been "giving it a chance" for a long time now.

Eventually you just stop believing.

To be honest , It was just like reading 22 posts in this thread and I got bored of it so stopped reading after a few minutes and jumped to the end to see if there were any conclusions. The point I picked up on was near the end and it particularly tickled me because I haven’t heard it before. I’m sure everything else he said was spot on and it was just that 1 unlucky paragraph that I picked up on which was in no way reflective of the accuracy of the rest of the article.

I think that the issue is the reactive nature of the action taken. It's not like Sunday just suddenly came on top. We've been moving exponentially towards what happened on Sunday for a while. If the club is paying anything other than lip service to fan forums then that's great but it is difficult (albeit some still manage it) to defend Levy at the moment.

I think his point shows perfectly how incoherent the article is. It's essentially a very personal attack on Levy, very badly put together.

The sad thing is that it could all work very well if Levy just totally stayed away from the football side and stuck to the commercial side. Unfortunately he can't let go and just leave it to those with more expertise than he does. He'll probably argue that there is too much overlap but I think that people are sick of seeing the club act reactively rather than proactively.
