I like Simon Jordan and think he has good opinions a lot of the time but I think he's way out of line for calling Spurs fans who want Levy out morons.

He seems to think we want them out just cause the team isn't doing well when in fact it runs way deeper.

We are sick of;
- A chairman who prioritises 'value' deals instead of quality and what the teams needs.
- A chairman who puts the breaks on any good progress by refusing to back coaches and push the boat out to give the team a better chance of winning.
- The chairman's transfer shenanigans in which he prefers to haggle down top targets which means those players come in late during preseason. In the meantime, valuable points are lost.
- A chairman's vision which solely relies on being reactive instead of proactive.
- A chairman who is blind to the squad's weak spots and prefers to give players 3 or 4 chances instead of binning them despite multiple coaches saying they are not good enough.
- A chairman who constantly selects the wrong coach by either looking for a 'quick fix' or just being too clever.
- A chairman who lets non-footballing people have their opinions and overrules qualified football experts.

Theres probably much more but I dont know how Jordan cant see that.
Just don't listen to Talksport or give them oxygen.

Bottom feeders.

So assume the chanting away at Preston will be just as vociferous, hopefully.
how do we think it will be home to city? A little disquiet from the south stand/east stand or full on Daniel levy, get out of our club

Didn't this get said before, a few years back?
Levy sees himself as a custodian of the club so if we're ever sold, he's insistent on staying on for a while that ensure we're in "safe hands". (Albeit tiny, penny pinching hands!).

It's like he just can't let go of control and while I do think his intentions are good, they are skewed and rather stifling.

imagine. 500m gets you Everton. Or 4billion for THFC with Levy insisting on hanging around….4bn with guaranteed office politics thrown in for free.

Just out of curiosity, hypothetically if we bring in Zaniolo, Porro and a CD this window will your opinion of Levy change? Also do you think the general opinion of him will ether change or the #levyout fans on twitter etc will they be somewhat satiated? What if we bring those players in and we start playing well?
No because the body of evidence is so great at this point. He has made a few signings in the past and often will get the chequebook out when he is in the shit. But it’s all very reactionary.

I hope so! It has been poor during home games so far. Which is where it really counts. Especially televised home games. Needs to be louder and continuous!

Hopefully that will get them to dick around less with Qatar and do the damn deal. As they will know if the screw this one up, the protests will only grow and intesify more with time.

Have you been to a match recently? There's small pockets of fans who sing it for a few minutes at a time. The overall sentiment is that we'd like a change, or at least a change of tactic within the ownership, but not if it means selling our soul to the gulf.

Its people begging for human rights abusers to take over that completely perplex me. Far more than why Levy doesn't just spunk money - even though the Porro deal will take us to over £200m in two windows.

Some really disappointing comments from Maureen regarding the Monster, we would only play 5m Euros when his then club wanted 10m Euro, utterly pathetic, now look at him, Dier is long gone by now if he had been signed. Another indefensible missed opportunity from the wee bald bollocks.

Great post and tbh Simon Jordan is pretty hit and miss. He wasn’t the best chairman and doesn’t have that great football knowledge.

He often just says a wild opinion to get more clicks / callers also.

Sounds good!

What’s your riot plan? Is it putting Daniel in a headlock like Everton did with their Chief executive or should we wait until we are in the relegation zone?
This is the plan:

This thread need to be bump up evert day regardless of results or signings

Dennis Levy OUT
If we sign Danjuma Porro and a top CB this Jan then follow that up in summer with a new contract for conte and another 5-6 good signings he wants then the noise should die down because we will finally be executing an ambitious plan to back a top manager to give ourselves the best chance of winning within the resources we have available which is all most of us have wanted for years.

Big IF ofc but if the leopard ? has finally changed his spots so to speak then continually bumping this thread would add to unessacary negativity.

Ofc if this Jan is underwhelming, Conte doesn’t re-sign, we fuck up another manager search end up hiring another one who is a bad fit and we don’t have time to or just don’t set out and execute on a plan to shape the squad and address key area of weakness as has often been the case then yes this thread in that case would need continual bumping.

Lets see how it goes.

I hope things start to turn round positively and we can just get back to focusing on supporting the team because trying to force through change is tiring, hopefully changes are being made now and we won’t need to that would be better all round ???????

It would take a hell of a lot for me to not be Levy out.

I get the feeling its going to continue to be constant cycles of fans gunning for him, then he does something good when the pressure is on which results in our fans having hope again and believing it's all changed and to give it time.....then he reverts back to his old ways and rinse and repeat.

I hope I'm wrong but it just seems like deja vu over and over again.

That's pretty much it. I wouldn't ease up based on the evidence of one transfer window.
