Levy’s wasted £200+ on transfer in the last 5 years

£80m+ on sacked managers
at least £100m lost on not selling players poch wanted out.
£400m lost through incompetence should be reason enough to get a CEO fired.

Where do you have these numbers from?

I reckon it's the top 20 money wise...?
Trouble is not the best way to rate transfers , plenty of big money transfers at many clubs have failed in the Premier League.
In the monetary value list where do we rate Bale , according to transfermarket at the age of 17 we paid approx £13 million for him , do we credit Levy for the transfer of Bale and Berbatov and Vertoghen and Defoe etc etc.

My complaints would decrease significantly if they just lowered the price of tickets. You can't charge the highest prices and not challenge for the title. It's a nonsense

I agree with this if your point stretches out on a 20yr timeline but how long exactly have we been charging the highest price? If the answer is: since the new ground opened, and you have wanted us to be challenging to win the Premier League in this time - with Brexit, a Pandemic, losing shit loads of money, Jose>Nuno, Hitchin>Fabio, trying to offload the shit and replace with upgrades, Harry and Conte with 1 foot possibly out the door if they want it.. whilst City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Utd, Arse have been splashing the cash for fun... my reply would be you're off your rocker mate.

It was a very good way to rate transfers. An objective criterion - rank order of transfer fee spent - and an evaluation of those. Its damning and it shows Levy and those around him have done very poorly when spending big money.

The transfers you mention reflect a more subjective approach, and interestingly, a bygone era when we were getting transfers right. What changed? Why did Levy abandon that scouting or transfer strategy?

Anyway, as many have said, it's not about money outlay, but decision making. Levy's been here for 20+ years and bounced all over the place in terms of strategy. We won fuck all because he doesn't know his own mind, or has never had a footballing one.

So he gets blamed if he doesn't sign the players the manager wants, but also gets blamed if he signs players the manager wants and they flop? I think in the past he's definitely been guilty of asking too much for players we wanted to get rid of, but I don't think we can point fingers at him when he has backed the manager with new players.

Ally Gold said a couple of days ago that we've got over £200m's worth of players out on loan at present.
That's a pretty damning display of how our club has been run recently.

Yeah, every transfer carries a risk but that's a ridiculous amount of money to have sat in limbo, with absolutely no benefit coming from it.

If levy was levy’s boss, how many times do we think he would have sacked him?

A lot I suspect.

The only players we have out on loan that we don't seem to want are Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombele. Total Cost £135 Million. The others out on loan are Bryan Gil, Djed Spence, Harvey White, Destiny Udogie all players that still have futures at the club. Total Cost £57.7 Million.

It looks quite bad without context, but the reason we signed most of those big money players was because we were backing the Manager, Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele account for £122 Million. All players the Manager at the time wanted and the reason why they are out on loan now is because we are backing a Manager that does not want them. The same thing could happen to Richarlison, Romero and Kulusevski then the rhetoric will be we didn't back the Manager with these signings.

And that's why we need a proper strategy and vision from top to bottom.
Not this spasmodic, reactionary approach we've had for so long.

Anyone else think there is going to be a lot of toxicity aimed at him at our next match?
And how exactly that going to help the team, Conte and the new players. Just seen on twitter those who actually want us to lose but it’s not to “make a point“ to Levy it’s to upset Arsenal. I cam to a conclusion that the toxicity it’s all about Arsenal doing well
