Stadium will undergo another huge change with F1 associated cart racing as well in coming summer. Thats a 15 year deal.

If we target a strategic partner who is also associated in racing - may be a technology partner or a Car OEM maker...all these gives great incentive & added promotion for all parties involved

@Hotspur88 already has corroborated that this is us.
Think everyone is getting a little mixed up. We are getting closer to a naming rights (hopefully) according to a well known poster (SandroClegane). Who this is has not been confirmed but its a 'safe' choice. Hotspur88 has also said we may be getting close to something, but the two bits of info have not been confirmed as absolutely linked - although of course maybe. Maybe 2 wholly different things - coincidence? Oh, and I can't see how guess the random US Company (or elsewhere) is going to get anyone anywhere:LOL:

It‘s a bit shocking that anyone could have inside information. Especially when you think about the companies that would be involved and the money on the table. Specifically, if this is a publicly traded company, then leaking a single shred of information violates all kinds of insider trading laws. Even the act of posting anything that could be tied back to that company could land a few folks in very hot water.

Same rules may not apply to private entities, but that doesn’t mean stuff like this isn’t sealed tight. Either someone on the Spurs side or the potential investors have some loose lips that could get them fired at best… or in legal jeopardy at worst. Been around enough of these type of deals to know details rarely leave the circle of trust. And that includes vague info like... ‘We are close to a deal with someone’. Weird.

Surely that's quite normal?

But as an aside, I can think of one person high up with the ownership of the club that potentially has a track record of revealing indie info.

Not going to be a "huge" change is it? The undercroft where the pitch is stored will become a temporary cart track. Every little helps, it's another nice addition and good that it has F1 linked to it, but I don't think we should oversell this.

This is certainly a big deal...interms of longetivity.
This is not just 1 go kart track.
Way they are looking at this is a means for F1 to bring in diversfication by lowering cost of karting and as well this will be a electric karting....F1 first foray in electric association. The plan is to have a academy set up for drivers and also acddemy on education into technology as well.

For me, this is great initiative for us to be part of. I am not overselling this here. Commercial value for us is in brand association.

Coming back to larger point - Whoever we look for , has these assocations to be linked with under a single stadium umbrella. Thats why it makes us unique and hence we need to get top $ deal. Its a crime for me, its already not done. Stadium should have a trend setting sponsor

Tesla would be perfect but probably too controversial.

No. It really isn't.

EG: I know the folks who were behind T-Mobile sponsoring the Seattle Mariners stadium, and the ring-fencing of details was SCIF level confidential. Much of which had to do with them being a publicly traded company.

Also know of two people at my old company (think, CLIPPY), who were shitcanned for leaking information about shirt sponsorship for an MLS team. And another one who did time for letting secret details slip regarding an NFL deal. Likewise, they are in good company with another person on the NFL side who was the main source of the leak and traded favors for information. (knuckleheads, the pair of 'em).

You simply do not fuck around with this type of thing. Hence, why I find it astonishing anyone would be privy to inside information. But, as noted, it's a bit different if the company is private. Still very risky to be flapping your mouth to anyone outside of the deal. But the legal jeopardy is decreased massively.

I'm not saying shirt sponsorship doesn't work, but I'd never heard of TeamViewer before I read this.
TeamViewer is used by IT departments to remotely access other computers. It's actually very useful, can upload download and control everything from their office without having to leave and mix with the rest of us. 👍🏻

I heard It's Chelsea and shirts. Fuck knows who or what really, but i'd bet my last slice of Victoria Sponge that it's not us. It never is when these rumours surface :D
That was me to you behind the scenes re the new Chelsea kit sponsor and who it might be.

Old article which may have been posted before, Kline is quoted as saying patience is needed to get the right partner..

He says patience is needed as he takes his huge salary.

Yes that's possible, this is an interesting statement, maybe steering clear of Saudi's etc.. You can't fault Kline on sponsorship the growth is better than most PL clubs.

That relationship with our fan is so important. The last thing we’re going to do is make a decision that’s economically driven, that potentially could impact how they view or feel about us.

Todd Kline, Chief Commercial Officer, Tottenham Hotspur

Is he deluded does he not know, we sold Defoe then berbatov and Keane and replaced them with Fraser Campbell on loan

money has always come first

Our latest signing was still in nappies when this happened. I think it’s probably time you got over it.

News always comes up every international break then disappears without a trace.
