Not crypto. Once again, it is a very normal company that won't cause any controversy or be called out for questionable business practices.
That would be a welcome relief what with our crooked "ex" owner and our "ex" managing director of football still around.

Last time I was told, he wanted 600m over 20 years.

he believes he can justify something around the level of the Staples Centre deal with Crypto.

With the way the arse has fallen out of advertising/sponsorship for stadiums he'd be doing brilliant to get half that IMO.

So per the info;
- 'Normal' company
- Not controversial
- Not Saudi/Qatar affiliated
- Not Asian based
- Wealthy

Sounds financial institution or big tech to me or perhaps tying in with F1 and our previous involvement with Audi that they (VW Group) would look to make a connection here with Audi putting forward a F1 team in 2026.

He also said most people won’t have heard of them, so rules out Audi.

Whatever the stadium is called, "We Are Tottenham From The Lane" will never stop and fortunately TFL eventually stopped the renaming of White Hart Lane Stn to Tottenham Hotspur, so White Hart Lane will live on both as station name and the road.

CAA helps consult with companies that are looking for naming rights deals. I've heard that there is a company they are working with that "is close to a deal with a team in the Premier League". I don't know 100% if it's Spurs, but it can really only be a few teams.
What happened to that American (?) we hired as an executive of something - that was supposed to be an expert on getting stadium naming rights?

Old article which may have been posted before, Kline is quoted as saying patience is needed to get the right partner..

Patience i.e. we haven't been offered nearly enough money!

Yes that's possible, this is an interesting statement, maybe steering clear of Saudi's etc.. You can't fault Kline on sponsorship the growth is better than most PL clubs.

That relationship with our fan is so important. The last thing we’re going to do is make a decision that’s economically driven, that potentially could impact how they view or feel about us.
