When you think or the horror there has been in many countries with a leader lets say like Hitler in Germany.
They can only succeed if good men do and say nothing if you want to be successful so badly that you are going to ignore the deeds of bad people / countries / just so you can win things then so be it . I dont profess to be an angel or even that decent but there has to be a line drawn and for me if we are taken over by some despot / despot country then I myself am finished regards following spurs .
All countries have their bad faults and bad leaders but for me you have to draw the line in the sand at some point .
As I say even these massive companies like Amazon and Nike prey to some extent on the poorer people of the world so you cannot go around asking for a saint to take over your club but somewhere there has to be a limit to what you are willing to overlook .
Some of these Middle East oil rich countries are so bad the way they treat the poor people that work for them I suggest you look at some of the amnesty reports and you might have a different view about being taken over by them .
Of course my view comes across as hypocritical as I will accept some bad practices but not the very extreme bad practices after all as much as I would like it to be we do not live in a perfect world .

c'mon then, let's be hearing your 'terminal' jokes!

In all seriousness, I am surprised an airline is in talks based on the current climate. But they would be a classy sponsor. (tho the stadium would REALLY feel like an airport terminal on match days with 'British Airways' every - yuck!)

It would be surprising to me if they made such a big commitment after such a devastating year financially. But maybe getting a sporting venue is a way they see to battle the Middle East airlines.

Dave Kitson with the ITK...

British Airways in discussions with Spurs over the naming rights to the stadium for £250m.

"10 British Airways destinations Spurs could visit in the new Conference League"
"Kane and Son in shock summer departures from British Airways stadium"
"Levy's arrivals delayed again at the British Airways"

In all seriousness though this would be very good for us if it happens

Can't see anyone in the travel industry wanting to splash the cash in the current climate but then again, maybe there's a benefit for them that my limited business knowledge doesn't realise?!

the more i think about it, the better it gets...(AGM discussion in my mind)
Q) What did you spend the money on?
A) Naming rights to a football stadium!
Q) Hmmm. How many fans does it hold?
A) Normally, 63k but at the moment, zero!
Q) Really? Odd.. But the team plays in all the big tournaments, right, for when the fans come back? Champions League and all that?
A) Err, not at the moment.....but its a GREAT deal!

Strictly speaking it's a football stadium, an NFL stadium, a concert venue and a conference and convention centre.
A genuine multi purpose venue.
