Like we're going to be doing major business in January.

Fuck I've heard it all now ?

Probably just to try and keep the frustrated amongst us quiet whilst it gives him more time to turn it around.

There's no way Levy will operate in a market where potential buyers are licking their lips over our predicament.

He’s just another man with an opinion and I’m sure if Levy is thinking about pulling the trigger JJ wouldn’t be the one who finds out about it. Let’s be honest JJ is a huge Poch fan and he’s just making excuses for him.
I really hope you're right. Just watched Jose talking sense again and wish we had a tactician and winner like him.

We're going to lose assets in the summer? Which ones would they be exactly? The ones that are currently under performing because they either a) don't want to be here, b) don't buy into the managers tactics or c) an as of yet undetermined reason that is yet to be presented to the poor ****s that pay to watch them turn in shite performances for the best part of a fucking year?

Reckon everyone who takes sides when all this shit starts to hit the fan is backing themselves into a corner. Blame lays at the feet of all involved at the club.

Owners won't sell up.

Manager whored himself and now by the sounds of it regrets continuing on in a job and a mess partly of his own creating.

As ever those who suffer care the most, yet then want to start to shit sling because of their chosen side in something that those that have all the power give little to no fucks about.

Only fucking Tottenham Hotspur Football Club could go fucking tits up after supposedly arriving in the big time on and off the pitch.

I fucking hate this term but this last year has to be THE most Spusy fucking time ever in this clubs history.

If the satire writers have run out of things to do with politics, I suggest they take a trip to Spurs, there is a whole fucking host of characters they could flip and make money out of, the Amazon docu is going to be fucking priceless ...

Imagine if it actually gets worse? A whole 10 years of argument on SC could finally come full circle and we end up actually “doing a Leeds”.....

.... except instead we do it in our own special style while taking zero risks.

Never change Spurs, never fucking change.

If he’s unhappy that the players he wanted out are still here then he needs to drop them and not bloody pick them! He’s shooting himself in the foot. Look at Chelsea, they’ve a transfer ban, lost their star player and have they gone to shit? No they’ve brought youngsters into the squad/1st team and they’re excelling. We’ve the likes of Tanganga, Skipp and the highly sought after Parrott yet they’ve hardly featured, instead Poch has kept the rebels involved.

all the players Chelsea are using have had 1-3 years experience of playing a higher level than U23 football with loans

Yup.

I'm no longer interested in which side of the fence those that post here sit on.

I want the people who earn all that cash for either making decisions on the pitch or make decisions off the pitch to actually start to do their fucking jobs. I want the wankers that earn money for kicking a ball round a pitch to make their minds up whether they want to pull the shirt on and win football matches or not.

The start of this season reminds me of Ramos without all his prize players having been sold, thing is, there isn't a Harry to come in here and save us this time.

This club is pure fucking banter right now, and I fucking hate it.

JJ has been posting and he is far too positive about Poch - he is going no where!
Well if that’s true we are in for a right spanking at West Ham next , Poch has already made his excuses for that game saying when the players come back from international duty he won’t have enough time to prepare the team for the weekend

Spurs are currently the footballing equivalent of our Government and opposition parties... no one has a clue what they’re doing.

Look we can go round in circles all day.

What I'm saying is, he isn't getting the most out of this group of players.

And its complete bollox to suggest that suddendly all these players arn't as good as they used to be.

Maybe a couple at most, but that still doesn't come close to explaining the huge drop off in collective performances over the last nine months.
Also doesn’t explain how they’ve all managed to keep their previous levels up for the national teams or Trippier suddenly looking like the player from 2-3 years ago since leaving

It means I don't believe ENIC can take us forward in that us becoming consistent challengers for honours (primarily the league and CL, which is what we should be striving for) under them.

Didn’t we just reach the CL final?

I genuinely think JJ is the mouth piece for levy at times which is great as it gets a message out but I truly see what he says as bang on, he isn't often wrong..
Why would the club prompt a guy who has a reach of a few thousand, when they can prompt the press who reach 10s/100s of thousands?
Makes no sense.

Not doubting his info, he's nearly always on the money, but a club mouthpiece?
Nah.

Klopp has many average players and some very talented players playing at their maximum. No way Fabinho and Winaldum and Henderson are as good as they are now under a different manager at a different club. It’s all down to Klopp. Conversely we have many talented players and some average players playing like absolute Rubbish, because of Poch.
you are significantly underestimating the individual skills of Liverpool's players. They have 3 world class strikers, 2 world class FBs, 1 world class CB, world class goalie while remaining are excellent. They have 2-3 average players, all the rest are phenomenal

Even Graham fucking Souness noticed that before CL final

On Fabinho - have a look at his stats

# tackles, interceptions etc per game is on par with world class DMs like Casemiro or Ngolo Kante. Note he was bloody good before Liverpool in Monaco

I know they are bloody good players but Fabinho wasn’t exactly wanted by every top club in Europe. Liverpool have recruited exceptionally well and that goes back to Robertson and Henderson and signing players like Firminio, Mane, Salah. All gettable players by most clubs. Most fans laughed when they signed those players. Other clubs turned their noses up. Credit has to go to Klopp too. He seems to just have an eye for a signing. He’s hardly signed any duds. Ultimately he must get final approval and he’s nailed it. Even his big money signings have been exceptional in VVD and Allison. Then not just that he provides a system and platform that gets the best out of all of them.

Not going to get drawn into the subjectivity of what world class is but before Klopp had them they weren't at that level, tha's the point.

This is literally the same argument that many labelled at Poch, when we were at our peak in 2016/17 people were saying that players like Kane, Alli, Alderweireld, Eriksen, Son, Walker etc...have improved due to Poch's coaching, he got them to a level that previously evaded them, we were all happy then to praise Poch for improving our players yet when our players under perform we don't want to thrown any blame this way, it has to work both ways, Players play to their level due to coaching - at the moment Poch isn't getting enough out of these players.

ENIC are not perfect but they can’t be blamed for our team being out-performed consistently by inferior opposition of late, that falls on Poch and the players.
whether Poch stays or goes this group has run its race.

Thought a lot about it and the way Poch rallied the group at the start of last season after all the issues (no investment, let down of a second year with no home, WC etc.) was impressive but mentally they have burned out....he pushed them hard and the first part of the season saw a fantastic away record and a decent Wembley one.....but then, bar an incredible CL rally, cumulative fatigue of the past few years hit (and a bit of bad luck with Wanyama, Dembele, Dier etc.)

A year from now we will have approx 6 of these players in our possible strongest starting X1 (hopefully Son, Kane, Alli, GLC, Ndombele, Sanchez) and another 7-8 in our squad (not including RS and the younger crowd).

BIG change is inevitable

So I’m assuming if he’s not gone tomorrow or Tuesday at a push, he’s not going anywhere for the foreseeable.
Long season ahead my fellow yids and yidettes ?

Been well documented that Jan wants to stay and Aurier is a liability and Wanyama is finished at the top level. Eriksen has stunk the place out for the best part of a year and Rose has seemingly lost what he once had. The issue for me are not the want away players per se as even without them we should still have enough to be beating the teams I mentioned.

if you are looking at a short term 2 or 3 year fix then Mourinho is your guy. If you are looking for longer project then NagelsMann is your guy. Or if you want to go balls deep and make a statement you go all out for Simeone. He would be my ultimate pick if I could choose.

Simeone's first signing for us will be Trippier

Don’t dispute that

My point was to illustrate where the focus lies with club owners - and it’s reflected on the pitch and in the squad

if you think the stadium which we haven't even played ½ a season in yet was going to make us world beaters overnight then you're so wrong. the trouble is it has coincided at a time when we have players that are not bothered about Poch, the stadium, our training facilities or more importantly Tottenham Hotspur. 3 of them will be hoping to sign a pre-contract with another club by the end of January, and are playing like they are trying to make sure they go into the Euro's full of energy, because they ain't been using any when playing for us.

also with the original post "anchor tenants", even if an NFL team moved to us permanently they only play 8 home games a season
