Read the preceding post...I answered the question as to why he shouldn't start right now, I'm not saying he's crap.
Why judge a player on one game when he’s hardly played all year?
Players need runs in the team to get up to speed.
Ok, so we are supposed to accept dire performances and turgid football for 7 months because of your deluded blind loyalty ? Im sorry, but nobody hates Poch here. We all think he’s done an excellent job and most us want him to leave with dignity, hence why most of us would rather Bayern come in for him rather than sack him and ruin his legacy. But there comestime when the manager needs to be replaced and the time is now. No away win since last Feb in the league. A horrendous run of form that stems back way before just this season. Constantly playing the wrong players and choosing the wrong selections. You are incredibly naive if you think we should be grateful for this just because we have got a few top 4 finishes down the years. Get your bloody head out the sand mate.
if it weren’t for the extenuating circumstances (levy) you may have a point. As it stands you don’t. Happy the whiny minority like yourself mainly doesn’t attend the games (evidenced by ‘he’s magic’ still being sung)
Poch really is a magician. Almost a year of shite and there’s still those who’d be happy to get relegated with him because of fond memories and Lucas scoring a hat trickif it weren’t for the extenuating circumstances (levy) you may have a point. Id give him until the end of the season. Then its time to make the decision.
No point in thinking about sacking him now, unless the person you might have identified is available.
No other manager is going to turn this around in my opinion unless those not performing turn it around. I don't think those who are clearly not performing are capable of turning it around this season.
Some weeks ago have resigned myself to the frustration of what is on the horizon.
Mourinho and Rodgers shouldn't be even on the discussion agenda.
Does it really seem strange that Levy feels loyalty to a man who stewarded the club to within a couple of sliding doors moments of winning the title twice while we were involved in the most difficult period of change the club will every face in completing the new stadium?
A man who has turned down offers from Real and others to stay loyal?
I get that people are hurting, and the football is dire at the moment, but I just hate the way Poch is being disrespected.
Maybe he has to go, for the food of both him and us, but some fans here don’t deserve good things because in a matter of months they’ve viciously turned on someone who’s given us years of some of the most consistent, entertaining and joyful football we’ve seen.
Absolutely completely agree with this I am utterly disgusted with the opinions of these so called fans. They are getting what they deserve with this miserable football.
Honestly, what a load of horseshit. Congrats, you made the ignore listYep and that will soon diminish once we struggle and mumble our way through Sheffield United. You are delusional mate and can’t see the bigger picture. 7 months of pure shit football and god awful form, yet you are criticising supporters for feeling concerned. Glad most of us are not like you, losers mentality that accepts failure. No wonder this club never win anything with supporters like yourself.
I'm not saying pochy is perfect but who's out there that can re-invigorate us?
Nagelsmann (destinied for Bayern at some point)
Southgate (will want to crack at Euros)
Gallardo (my pick but why would he wanna leave River Plate where he led to two Copa Libertadores?)
Howe (overrated)
Allegri (only achieved success with Juve)
It doesn't make sense to dispense with Poch if his head is screwed on with us, he wouldn't have signed an extension in May if he wasn't committed.
BUT he does has his flaws and need to learn from them, namely
- insistence on playing out from the back regardless of the score
- insistence on new signings needing 6 months to bed in
- insistence on playing kane week in week out
- insistence & oblivious to eriksen’s underperformance
- insistence on only making substitution after 65min
he isnt learning that is the problem and these issues have been going on for months and months, no sign that he is going to changeI'm not saying pochy is perfect but who's out there that can re-invigorate us?

Same happened to Leicester after their PL winning season. Granted they lost Kante who played a major role in them winning it but their defence, which was relegation quality, completely went to shit after that season.“I tell you what happens to teams,” Jones said after the final. “They evolve and some guys will lose desire, some guys will lose fitness, some guys will get injuries and there’ll be young guys come through.
“So this team is finished now. There will be a new team made — we’ll make a new team for the Six Nations and that new team for the Six Nations will be the basis of going to the next World Cup.”
Theres a coach with a vision for his team.....feels like a major contrast to our current predicament.
