My main issue with backing Pochettino through a revolution is that, to genuinely do that, we might have to sell Kane, as Kane clearly doesn’t want to play for Pochettino anymore based on these performances.
I’m not willing to support that particularly sacrifice. We all remember trophies, we also remember great players. I am far more fond of the three years stored in my memory banks of Ginola than the one league cup he won with us. Two years of Berbatov, several of Keane and Defoe, Bale’s growth into what he became etc etc. We have the rare opportunity by the end of Kane’s contract to witness a player make history with us, both with club records and with league/ English records, so if he doesn’t want to play with any manager then I’m backing Kane not the manager. Any manager may or may not have success, but Kane is on course to pass 200 league goals for us, something only Greaves has done, and no player has done for any club in the premier league era. I don’t want to sacrifice that for a manager who can’t get the best out of him.
