The point is, if we continue are ppg over the last 6 months we'll be nowhere near the top end of the table. To only look at the table now whilst ignoring the context of how poor we've been for so long is classic burying the head in the sand.

There is no signs at all of us improving, only getting worse.

I don't think Levy will let it continue for much longer.

A hammering by Liverpool will precipitate I'd bet.
Didn’t AVB get pumped 5-0’by Liverpool and that was final nail in his coffin? Could be the same next week as we are going to honestly get anihalated.

To my mind we’ve been poor since Wolves came from behind to beat us at Wembley, then the wheels have fallen off. The run to CL final just papered over the cracks.

However, I thought we would start afresh this season but it is the same crap as we’ve had since January. As I’ve said before I think it’s combination of factors and overall I’ve been more in favour of shifting out the players that don’t want to be here than the best manager we’ve had in my lifetime. However,I do think he’s lost half the dressing room and it appears players like Harry, Son, Lloris (who I thought would be pro-Poch) are not outing the ones that don’t want to be there and pulling them up which looks bad news.

That said, I’m sick of a different formation / system and personnel every week. No wonder the players look confused and timid. This rotation is bollocks, Liverpool pretty much play the same team every week and they play more games than us! Playing 3 CBs at home to Watford is ridiculous as is playing 2 holding midfielders at Colchester. These decisions are on Poch and I don’t know how he justifies it! I don’t see us winning on Tuesday and only hope we don’t get humiliated by Liverpool. I don’t expect Levy to sack Poch but I now don’t think he can turn it around.

I think it was a mistake to change his role/title from coach to manager. If we'd had a DOF or similar I think we'd be in a much better position than we are.

His eye for a player is questionable at best and however the blame is shared out between him and Levy, over the past few years it just hasn't worked in terms of player recruitment.

Obviously I exempt the players we bought in the summer from that as far too early to tell.

The last 10 minutes today show we still have it in us !

So we need to ask why did we only show it in the last 10 minutes ???

Because the players were playing for personal pride.

Watford didn't help themselves with their constant timewasting and general shit house behaviour, which you could tell was really winding our players up.

Such an odd situation we’re in. If you look at the past eight to nine months objectively, it’s hard to make a case for backing the manager and these players. They’ve been playing at a level that sees teams get relegated.

I’m not sure I can recall a period of games like this where we’ve lost so many...

It doesn’t seem likely that the team drags itself out of this muck with this manager. The trend lines indicate a rather damning story.

Best to rip off the band aid now and let the healing begin. No reason to prolong this festering illness.

Because we took Winks off, and just like we have done on other occasions when we have done that this season (e.g. Villa first day) that transformed the team from being slow build up to something a bit more acceptable

Agree, he moves the ball far too slowly.

Because the only thing actually going for us is we’re an incredibly physically fit team. Watford were chasing the ball nearly all game. They were visibly fucked by the 75th minute.

The same happened with Villa at home in August. It’s why we score so many late goals.

The only issue now is we’re fucking shite for the first 75 minutes.

8 defensive players at home to bottom of the league...

If he's making changes with midweek in mind then he's done it the wrong way round. You have to prioritise the league.

Poch, this first step should already been long taken.. For fucking hell sake, it shouldn't be today..

All your fucking excuses.

That's been the case for months though. Why has nothing changed?

It's not good enough to keep starting games like that and flurrying around at the end, especially to the bottom side of the league.

Poch is blaming the fans now. Surely if he think we're the problem and not him or the players then it's over.

We booed at half time which I don't think was unreasonable. We were muted at times but hardly hurt the team.
