We have a good squad when all fit and focused but at the minute we have players that want out, certain players the club want to shift but for what ever reason take an age and some players past their sale by date ( who shouldn't be first choice).

Mentality is a massive thing in sport life etc
I agree but reports are that it’s not just the wantaway players that are not happy with Poch.

We are suffering from lack of investment in the squad. Poch has been given the task of getting the most out of what he had for several years. Investing in new players will take a few windows. Poch needs this season at least.

I can’t believe some of the names being suggested. They include some of the most anti football managers there are. Poch can turn things around but needs time. Sadly our much vaunted youth produces nothing but water carriers so we have to buy
Kane Winks aint bad. I personally felt we made a mistake with Onomah possibly Edwards

Balls. They showed incredible coherence and intensity for the first 1/2 of a CL game in front of a global audience in midweek. If what you say is accurate they are the problem - was it their feelings that prevented them from running more than Brighton? Seen more professionalism from a Sunday league team. Kane was jogging around like he was 40 years old - and I love the lad but 200K and the captain does that after Hugo came off....where was the pride in the shirt???

Interesting that only Sissoko has fronted up after that performance and said sorry to the fans.

Anyway, it's all in Levy's hands.

I thought we did well in the first half. But Bayern came on stronger as the half went along.
Ndombele was hitting some lovely balls and the players were all buzzing.
But Poch couldn't figure out the whole thing.
Winks was stuck alone. He brought in Dier for Winks I believe.
In any case he got it wrong.
The point is it's not about the players not working it's more about their faith in Pochs acumen I think.
Tough tackling defence ,quick players, great pressing was all part of our success against a league that was shocked when they played us.Now they are all fit,all pressing, all tackling hard.
There is no advantage. We have to get better at football and tactics

Peps Man City has lost away to Norwich and at home to Wolves is he losing the dressing room?

We shouldn't panic we all know what needs to be done. Poch needs a little time to get certain players OUT certain players fit and up to speed and certain arrivals to begin the new.

How the hell is it panicking when the rot began to set in in January?

You cannot compare our current situation to Man City losing a couple of games, that's just a cheap, throwaway comment tbh.

And by your second paragraph, are we supposed to wait til January? Banishing a load of players is going to mess up the mindset of the squad even more, so we're stuck with them until we can sell them and if we keep playing like we are, we're going to be fucked by January.
It really is a shitty, no-win situation and I can only see one way out.

Really who else?
ITK allude to Kane, Sissoko criticized tactics...tbf even if players wanted out a manager should still be able to motivate...if not don’t play them, which Poch does.
Hate to say this but Ramsey still played well despite knowing he was out.

Rumours say Kane, Sissoko has been critical recently and I think Dier and Alli are on that list too. Verts wants to stay also but I don't think he's behind Poch anymore.
I honestly think that the only player who's still got Poch's back is Hugo, and he's fucked now.

For once someone makes some good points.

Quite frankly Poch improved average players but others have caught up with his methods. City and Liverpool in addition have bought higher quality players whilst we have not improved our squad ... I think the summer signings are a step in the right direction ... athleticism, fitness etc only take you so far.

If we changed managers the problem remains. I do still believe though that DL will more likely give Poch money to spend than almost any other manager that can be named.

No Ramsey was mainly injured (Ramsey being an odd example) . I'm not here to convince people that getting rid of Poch (imo) would be a mistake - he foresaw this well before it happened. I think Poch is a great manager upright honourable man has taken the club forward over the last 5 years. Other clubs have been able to recycle their players and teams, our situation obviously was a bit more difficult with the stadium build and training facilities now that's been done it would be interesting to see if we now back him with money.

As others have already said, title-winning Man City aren't in a crisis after 2 losses. We aren't in a crisis after 2 losses. It's all after 9 months of being very turdy in the league, getting into the top 4 teams by the skin of our teeth after being in the mix.

If he does get the sack, i’ll be shocked if Levy appoints a replacement that soon. And if he does, then it’ll be a Sherwood type to steady the ship instead of a longer term one like Mourinho, Allegri or Rafa

See the post below, quite informative on how there are a few options available quite quickly. Is it really coincidence Allegri was at the game Tuesday?

This would be my list of possible replacements..
Marcelo Gallardo River Plate.. a winner, great to watch, up their with Guardiola & Klopp as one of best coaches in the world.. plus we get Sandra Rossi with him & if ever a squad needed her it's this one.. If our board had any brains they would make him their No.1 choice... Sadly I don't think they do

Luis Enrique available, I really enjoy watching his team's play

Rudi Garcia available, has done a decent job everywhere he's been, would know how to deal with board, could be a short term option to steady the ship

Gasperini Atlanta has done a great job & team is a joy to watch.. deserves a chance at a bigger club

Quique Seiten available we would at the least play the best football in Europe.. his team's are epitome of sexy football

Lucian Favre Dortmund good coach & think he would do a decent job

Laurent Blanc available I include him as a short term fix.. would be excellent with dealing with the board, plays decent football & has been in a position of walking into a dressing room in disarray with France & steadied things

Pablo Machin available, My wildcard pick, done a great job at Girona & was doing likewise at Seville, had them 2nd at Christmas until an injury crisis 8 games later he was sacked.. Seville made a big mistake doing that.. very good coach

Having said all that I expect Max Allegri to be No1 choice of board.. I have mixed feelings on that.. he never had to build anything & his football can be dour at times.. plus side he would bring much needed discipline & would want a technical director is needed imo

Im beginning to think he is gone and it will be announced tonight or tomorrow. To be completely radio silent on the day when an event you've been endlessly promoting for 2 years cant just be a coincidence. How do you not go all in on it the day of the event? Club has been dead silent since last night's update on Hugo.

I personally think he wants us to do well (as a supporter), but has to do it in a way that keeps Uncle Joe happy.

From what I read into the ownership, if JL has to invest, he'll do it by reducing DL's stake... which would then eventually lead to the kind of model Man Utd or Arsenal have, where the club is ran for commercial reasons only.

The 'long game' here, I believe, is that DL has been building the club where it can fund itself for transfers, and it looks like we're pretty much there. I hope and expect that we'll see things done differently, as we did in the summer (imo).
I wonder how much of an effect not qualifying for the CL would have on the transfer kitty.

Depends on so many factors imo - for example, who would potentially leave (and for how much), who the manager is, who the manager wants, who we can get...

Surely Levy wouldn't sack him today because he wouldn't want it to be on the same day as the NFL
