I mean it's not like it hasn't already been said. It's been over and over and over again now for a week or more. Even JJ came into the thread this morning to say there was money available and everything was good with Conte, and yet I still feel like people are determined to twist and contort everything to a doomsday scenario.

I'm done with it though mate tbh, I'll just let them get on with it for the rest of the window.

But we’re not seeing it come into fruition? I don’t think it’s a case of people twisting scenarios. It’s the same old case of if we invest now top 4 is there for the taking, but will we?People are losing hope, the penny pinching and lack of conviction has cost us at a minimum 1 league title over the last few years, yet we’re still having to fork out the big money to go and see the squads decline!
(I don’t envy an ITKs job in this era, not aiming anything at you with this)

it’s not his talent that is under scrutiny it’s his attitude. There’s an article about it - Warnock said he needs to sort his head out, if he does he’ll be a star or if not, he’ll be playing non league

I'd trust the word of my family and friends who have regularly watched him.

Constant moaning, complaining, arguing etc....

We aren't even half way through the window and people are shitting the bed! The situation is nowhere near as bad as some are making out.

Can we all just calm down, take a step back, go enjoy a drink or whatever chills you out then come back and wait until the end of the window before losing your heads. Even then, we may not have done the business you expect us to do but there will be a reason for that which has already been mentioned.

Listen, I get it, I'm frustrated also, mainly because I'm still getting f**king ? replies ? but this site which which always been amazing is currently a very difficult place to visit.

We all support the same team, the mighty f**King Spurs! Now let's stick together as a fan base rather than picking at every single post.

If Spence is someone we are really interested in it just makes me feel our scouting is so amateurish and knee jerk. I remember him playing very well against us in the cup for boro, not sure when maybe 2 years ago. So what have we been doing for 2 years about him ? This is a player Boro were willing to loan out. Now suddenly after 1 good performance against Woolwich he’s on our radar? I’m not saying he hasn’t got ability, it just all feels very knee jerk like a lot of our scouting.

People need to stop overreacting, twisting and reading between lines that do not exist. You read an ITK the post. That's it. There's nothing behind it. Even if it's positive, somehow it'll be turned into a negative. It's getting tiresome and I, for one, wouldn't be against only have ITKs and mods post in here and that be it. Fed up of the toxic nonsense.

Trix, Herc, H88, JJ all just share what they hear and what they're able to. They don't control what the club chooses to do. If you don't believe it or think it'll never change that's on you and not them. Sooner or later some of you will ruin this for the rest of us.

I take your point Trix, although some of the 1st choices looking at the names above have been shocking! Maybe that is the bigger issue. I thought Bruno Fernandes was first choice over LoCelso but there you go.

There was only a story the other day from Jaunde Ramos requesting Eto or Villla with the 80mil for Berbatov and ending up with Darren Bent and Pavlychenko. Historically we have not backed our managers. When we sold Bale we had 100 million and bought 6 speculative punts on players hoping one would take off. As it worked out 1 did, Eriksen. The rest poor.

In more recent times none of the below could have been first choice for a position. I am sorry if they were then someone needs the sack:

I think we can all agree we need to improve in the transfer market and the way we operate that is all.

Getting rid of Sissoko and paying off Serge was seemingly the last role of the dice to get TN to settle and integrate but it just hasnt worked. If we can move him on and sign a replacement then we have to accept this one didnt work and move on. ITK sounds positive in that we are aware of what we need but waiting for that domino effect to begin. Buy before you sell or sell before you buy is a tricky balance in any walk of life, let alone elite football!
