I'm still not going into panic mode, we lost yesterday of course but we are still not gonna catch Chelsea up in terms of players in January anyway, also players that are deemed not available today could easily become available in the last 48hrs of the window and this happens all the time.
Also our next EPL game will see the return of Romero and Son and straight away that makes us much stronger than yesterday so if its just Traore this month although slightly disappointing we will still have a half decent team which is capable of challenging Arsenal, West Ham and Man Utd, having said that there is no way we will shift Ndombele, Dele and GLC and not have any midfield replacements, this week should be a hell of a ride for us, keep the faith ?

Good to see those players being moved on but we have to bring bodies in if they go. We can keep weakening the squad and expecting to maintain or improve our position.

What’s the length on Dele, Ndombele and Lo Celso’s contracts? They must be nearing the final two years so loans out, at the very least, is essential this January as they’re a depreciating asset the longer they are at the club. Conte made it clear they won’t be selected. Send back to the leagues they excelled at and hope they can do it again to attract bids in the summer. Dele to another PL club, most likely NUFC.

Seems exploring the possibility of swap for Lo Celso. Not sure if Sevilla focused or overall.

Diego Carlos swap makes sense. Around the £30m mark.

Last week of the window. I guess now we will see what is possible. Conte got let down by Bergwijn when he scored those goals against Leicester so he won’t be able to be sold now. Clever not taking the same risk with Dele and Lo Celso by leaving them out of the squad all together. Not sure how deliberately not trying to win a game goes down with others but I guess if you want to prove you need transfers in it’s a smart move.
It's bollocks like this that makes SC a chore sometimes.

Nah Lo Celso and Ndombele were on long term deals and still have 3.5 years left. We thought they were the future of the club and big coups, so tied them down to 6 year contacts.

Seemed like such a great idea at the time...

Dele's got 2 years left after this season I believe.

Doesn't really make sense though, swapping a midfielder (albeit an unreliable one) for a defender, if we lose a midfielder we should replace with a midfielder especially considering how light we are in midfield.

Delaney can suck my girthy hairy python.

It's amazing how excited they get at the status-quo (Utd back in top 4) getting back into place isn't it, and how much they seem to want Conte to walk from Spurs.

You just know if we get above them next month they'll start talking about Conte leaving us for them.

Trying still to bring in 3.

Interest in........

Italy and Spain for Gio
Rodon 2 Prem clubs and on EFL side
Ndom to PSG looking closer as of yesterday
Dele has had a number of clubs interested.

It's imperative, if we can move these on we absolutely have to. They have been consuming wages for years without repaying anything on the pitch. That's why they aren't being picked, as an injury could see them being here for years to come, if we don't shift them when opportunity is there.

AC was happy to keep GLC(but not against him going) as he hasn't really had the chance to fully assess. It's believed though that regardless of whether we keep him or not, he won't be first choice so better to let him go if we have a suitable offer and bring someone else in that will push that first team starting place. His injury record is abysmal and with his international status, it's just not something we can build on long term.

We all want players in, but imagine if we managed to get all those four out this window? That would be great business. Going to be bloody hard though I suspect. Hell, even getting one of them out would be great work.

Gio is flying to South America today and will be there til after the window closes. Does that not massively complicate attempts to squeeze him out the door?
