Just asked Fab Romano about this on his twitch stream. He said “let’s see, but it’s not going to be easy for Milan to let him leave in January”.

He rates McGrath as a journo though and said maybe.

Might sweeten the Tanganga talks. You give us Kessie early, you can have Tanganga with a lower buy fee in summer.

With AC Milan in a title race I would be shocked if they let him go without having a replacement lined up.

We certainly need more options in CM, especially if we use the 3-5-2 more often. I assume he'd be one of the 8s.

Paratici was more or less only a head scout under Beppe Marotta until the latter left for Inter in 2018. Coincidentally, that's when Juves decline and Inters surge towards the top began. Paratici might have a good eye for a player but there are legitimate question marks over his decision making as a DOF both from his time at Juve, and his time here.

Without trying to stray off topic, i guess we would consider any one of these a question mark signing?

Milan need a CB as Kjær is injured for the season. Kessie is not extending his contract with them so a swap (we get Kessie now, they get Tanganga on loan for free, with an option to buy on favourable terms should they want to).

Makes sense, they have Tonali, Benncaer, Krunic, Bakayoko and Messias in addition to Kessie, so they have cover in midfield, but not enough cover at the back.

Kessie is a bit more Ndombele than Skipp, Hojbjerg, and Winks while retaining the defensive stability which seems about as Conte as it gets.

We'll sacrifice the Ndombele potential to produce something out of nothing for someone who can 'sometimes' add goals, assists, get into the box, while working back to do the dirty work. I think most of us at this point can agree that if that's what Conte wants, he's done more than Ndombele to warrant it hahaha
