I tune in for Brundle's grid walk almost as much as the race now, it's brilliant. You'd find a hundred presenters who would fawn over these celebs and want to be charming and stuff but Martin doesn't give a crap who you are. He's so normal, great entertainment.

Needs a safety car in the next four or five laps to pull the field back together a bit.

I wonder if the solution is to just have shorter circuits? This dead patch in the middle of races, up until they catch up with the back markers, has been a thing for a long time.

Mercedes looking a thousand times better here, I wonder if this track suits the car a bit more, there's only two high speed turns and a few of the teams have rolled out new wings and changes to their bodywork, and while the Ferraris still look great, the improvement in the mercs in FP2 is promising.

Much better judging from yesterday, not sure it’s just the track as the dreaded porpoising had almost disappeared...fingers crossed they’ve finally got a handle on it.

Norris with a lap time deleted in Q2, that sucks, unlucky. Car's not looking bad though for both him and Ricciardo, which makes me glad - want to see him enjoying his racing again. Feel for Gasly, he's clearly got talent but that car and his luck are a bad combination. Max got one lap in before his car shit out on him - all eyes on Perez' car now to see if their weekend is going to end up in the pits and Russell dug out a great lap at the end to stick a merc on the second row - done well.
