Saw the game at St James Park, posted my player ratings on the main page.

I was miles away from the dugout in with all the Exeter fans, but I couldn't see 'Arry anywhere!

I just wrote a bloody great rant about what i saw tonight and i only went and mashed the keyboard and lost it all.

Ill sum it up

About half the home stands were taken up by twatbag spurs fans intent on winding up the home fans under some guise of loyalty or some bollocks like that. I nearly left during the first half cos i was so ashamed but im not sure who of, if you go to a match you dont don the shirt of the opposition and stand amongst the home fans, you most certainly dont chant songs or cheer like you won the fucking world cup, its disrespectful and its fucking childish. Im a spurs fan who grew up watching exeter, i love both teams but i turned up today in a black t-shirt with no intentions of drawing attention to myself as a spurs fan, apparently my opinion was in the minority. I cant be arsed with the rest of the rant, i cant remember the hil-fucking-arious bits i threw in with a charlie brooker like spite. Maybe i just dont like people any more.

Sum up...

Exeter were pretty crap, our keeper is always that good, occasionally he screws up but he's a great keeper

Individual player ratings.....

It was a bloody friendly, what do you want from me? Everyone did OK happy now?

I am not bothered about pre season games. Last season we smashed Roma five nil and look how we started the season. Lost to Sunderland in the first match, same story the season before that. I want a good start for a change.

We were in the away end and had a good time but it was bit embarrassing with the usual two songs that came up. Neither had anything to do with a friendly at Exeter. It was great to be allowed to stand at a football match for a change. That apart it was good to see most of the big names on display.

A big thumbs up to Bentley who was at the gate on the way out and signed programe shirts etc. and posed for photo's. A big thumbs down to Bent who wouldn't wave to us .

Was great to see the lads so close up! was a good workout for them. I think Exeter are gonna do well this season!
Their keeper kept it from a proper hammering!
About to head out to a site visit but will post sum pics when i get back!

Reminds me of Chris Armstrong. He got so much stick over the years that in 99/00 when he had a brilliant second half of season and wouldn't stop scoring game after game, he just plain refused to celebrate!

The few times I've been anywhere near Keane he's always a bit of a grim sod until he's had a drunk or two.

Not shocked that JD was a top bloke, he always strikes me as being unusually humble.

So you thought KPB played well? In what way?

Ive Just got back home (Dover) from Exeter after spending a couple of nights there and having a really good time! For those who were there, my friend was one of the people who went onto the pitch at half time because of the charity work that they had done, so we were given tickets from Steve Perryman which we collected at about 6. As somebody else said, he was outside the ticket office at about this time, so he came over and said hello to my friend and I, and signed our programmes. We went inside, and after a while I went to the dugouts where a few of the Spurs players were signing autographs. As I was wearing a Croatia shirt that I had picked up cheap in the City over the top of my Spurs Shirt, I thought it would be cool if one of our Croats would sign it. That wasnt to be as they didnt come to where I was, and I wasnt about to start pushing to get to the front, but I did get my Programme signed by Pavlyuchenko and Bale, and got my Spurs shirt signed by Ledley King which made my day!

My mate then went on the pitch at half time with a few other people who had raised money for the youth team charity, including some guys from Yorkshire, who oddly enough were in the same pub as us before the game (the Ship) and were also sat behind us. Small world.

After the game, we were stood by the barriers of the pitch while David Bentley (who I thought was very good that night!) was walking along signing autographs. I didnt get his, but did shake his hand which is good enough for me.

Then it was back to my mate's nan's house for a top notch fry up and some 8% cider :)

I'll post a couple of photos that I took later on.

all in all, was a really good few days holiday, and I thought Exeter was a great City. I hope to go back soon to see some more of it.

 I did mate. Bentley said he didn't want to go but the club might sell him. I asked Hutton if he was going to Everton and he said no. Got heaps of autographs and photos with defoe, keano and micheal dawson.

Your only 5'7 and Keane looks an inch taller than you at the most in the photo.

How tall is Keane really? was he slightly crouching here, or down a divet? Other peoples photos I have seen Keane looks the same height or slightly taller than people in the range of 5'9-5'10!

Maybe Keano adjusts his stance to match the height of others for photos
