disagree myself.. if soldado gets injured i really dont think AVB is or would be happy with these two ( defoe ar ade )coming in....

defoe can get your goals but in examples like against palace at weekend where he missed a sitter to kill game off , thats the difference .. this spurs has to get ruthless especially when it comes to strikers.

I disagree. You can view it as Defoe missed a sitter or you can view it as Defoe created the chance for himself by running through defenders - more than Soldado managed by the way. Plus I don't see who you can buy that's going to be better/play second fiddle.

i just worry about if soldado is out injured and the whole hold up play option and giving the defence a break .. defoe is totally incapable of playing this role but yeah he created chance for himself and thats what he is good at but im looking at the overall team effect which is what it will have to be when bale leaves.

soldado will get us 20 goals this year definte . if defoe was our main striker, would he get 20 ? no chance imo. there is better all round quality strikers out there to take defoe and adebayor place. its tricky one alright but i would not lose sleep over getting rid of both and bringing one in..
