Not sure how much interest we are showing - but could be an alternative to Leandro ?

Sevilla will close a major sale on the market in January and the principal, which would plug many holes economic, would be to Alvaro Negredo. In the last few hours have been revived contacts with English clubs to sell Vallecano. When all eyes were on Rakitic, Croatian does not end up taking her and while not ruled out, there is a lot of activity in this regard. With a firm proposal, playmaker not have risked injury in the inconsequential match yesterday butler. For Rakitic could reach 8 million offer.
The most valuable player of the template, along with Navas, Negredo is, hence Del Nido focus all their efforts on raising a substantial amount for his transfer. Specifically, 18 million euros. Sources for this website say the president plans to travel to London to close the deal in the sale enters its final stretch.
Upon termination of the transfer, Sevilla would sign a replacement. The idea is not to pay a transfer important because then it would be eaten served. The profile already tracking of a player is experienced, reputable, it could come on loan until end of season and thus alleviate the obvious lack of scoring in the key stretch of the season.
Doyen Group, the company that manages the rights of Negredo and to which it bears a great relationship Sevilla also has excellent connections with several English clubs. Besides Chelsea, who just signed to Demba Ba, Arsenal and Tottenham have always closely followed by Sevilla and have liquidity to face a major operation.
Meanwhile, Negredo has already placed a clear nod to the Premier. "There comes a time when the cycle comes to an end. The English league is great and my style of play would fit well. Would not mind going. Juan Mata and Fernando Torres really enjoyed in England, where there is a different way of experiencing football. said that it is easier for players to leave the house, you're not as controlled as in Spain, and I like that, "said on Sky Sports. There will be moves in the coming hours.

Anderson / hulk/ Willian/ Mout/ fernandinho = ALL PORTUGUESE!
These would have costs loads of money!
We are not Man City and Chelsea and won;t have that sort of money IMHO.

agree 100%

100000% agree. Just makes us a bit of a laughing stock to be honest. We either can pay the price or we can't. Surely it's that simple.

why not buy Huntelaar and have Lewis play behind him.....

So what you guys are saying is we shouldn't go after players we think are the best for us but compromise every time for lesser players and wonder why we can't challenge for the top.

The striker is the most important player on the pitch.

It is one area where you get the very best you can. Goals are everything.

If there is a chance of signing our number 1 target then we must go for it.

There seems to be an assumption that clubs only work on one transfer at a time and only move on what that collapses, which i have no doubt is not the case. Other options will have been sounded out, but as a club if we don't get Damiao this window we won't be signing any forwards, Dempsey will cover.

Huntelaar has signed a new Schalke contract so he's not an option.

It's the brave man that wins the girl.

A&C have we reached the point yet where you ban info from the 3 twitter WUMs being posted in here?.... *Crosses fingers in hope*

Fingers also crossed. There's only one reason they are on twitter and not posting to a forum: attention seeking.

What does the actual tweet say? I can't view his tweets.

I don't understand why he'd release information about in-fighting, to be honest. Hardly seems helpful...

I'm afraid that I don't do twitter, SC is pretty much all the social internet stuff I venture onto. Well, I have a Facebook thing but it's very rarely used.
I saw JJ's thing a page or so back.

Both Levy and AVB have jobs to do they both do their best for the club so they are going to have a difference of opinion especially when it comes to money and players....the best thing they can do is compromise we are never going to break the bank and go £25m on a player imo ...the whole Damiao madness has gone on for long enough we need to switch targets and forget this guy...AVB must have other targets on the striker front but if we don't get one il see you all for the meltdown (y).
