Lol some of you lot are in hysterics over losing Caulker, completely ignoring his regression from Swansea loan when he played for us. Always looked shaky, couldn't hit any pace on the turn, destroyed multiple times at u21 level this summer by inferior opposition.

Yet, when AVB was supposedly looking to move on Townsend it was 'we trust in AVB's judgement'... Why the fuck is this any different?

Clearly AVB doesn't fancy him as he's not that comfortable on the ball, nor has he got much pace... Hence the plan was clearly to sell Caulker and immediately announce Vlad. I still think we'll push the latter through.

I can't say I'm rejoicing over selling Caulker but the money was good and I really think he's overrated by quite a few on here.

A bit of a Matthew Upson really and I doubt Arsenal would say they missed out a great deal when they did sell him - he can go on to have a solid career but I think we are looking for more in a defender than what he's displayed thus far.
