Rumours were AVB was interested in Anderson, which got quite a negative response. I think he'd be perfect back up for the beast....experience of actually winning trophies, combative and a point to prove whilst still relatively young ( I think)

Back on topic... Sort of. So it seems LD is no longer our target and Son has, as expected, gone to Leverkusen. As much as Villa would be good to lead our line from an experienced point of view it would be nice to get a hot young thing as well... But who? PEA would be good, but he seems to be holding out for PSG so he can get diamond studded underpants to go with his training boots. Rodrigo I reckon will cost a lot more then 8 mil, ether way it would be nice to see some movement from us soon as everything all seems quite up in the air at present despight all the ITK saying things are going to happen... When?

I wouldn't expect any real movement to happen for another couple of weeks at least. Also I would take the lack of ITK and news of any type really as an indication that the club have stopped the leaks that we would have had over the past few years, especially when Harry was around - this is a very good thing indeed. Ok so not so good for us guys wanting to hear stuff, but much better for the club in general to keep things private.

On the LD front there was a brief and interesting exchange on that there twitter last night between @pthfcning and JJ.
Basically Paul said he had heard some good news about LD9.
He then DM'd JJ whos open response was WOW.
Paul signed off last night with we all live in a Yellow Submarine ;-)

Wouldn't normally post this in here but if it promotes proper chat as opposed to the bitch fest then its worth it.
Paul is not a WUM by nature,
I don't think the Yellow Submarine ref has anything to do with Villareal
Maybe LD isnt as dead as some would have us believe

Perhaps the club has identified those "ITKs" that are held in high standing on sites such as this and are either being more careful what these guys get told and/or have warned them to be more circumspect in what they release ? As an example POTL is being a whole lot more careful what info he passes on.

Just gonna point out that the Jason Burt article I posted earlier is as close as we are gonna get to AVB ITK.
in the absence of ITK cloaked in the realms of internet pseudonyms, this is as good as it gets.

So why has the one journo matey with Andre filed a story with the headline 'PSG will pay £10m for Villas Boas' ?

I don't for a moment think he's going, but surely Burt printing this kind of story would seriously damage his friendship with Andre, unless he okayed it.

Why would he okay it? A gentle reminder to Big Dan to make things stick in the transfer market? To hurry up and employ Baldini?

I'd not be surprised if Levy was undecided about Baldini, after all the article suggests that the DOF idea was mooted last summer, Villas Boas' success has strengthened his argument for it, yet still we wait.

It's an intriguing situation, will Levy any cede control or not? I fancy he doesn't want to but may be obliged to.

We'll see.

I'd be astonished if Levy hasn't got a posse of agents keeping close tabs on Man City, Utd, maybe Chelsea to see if there's any bargains to be had.

I think this transfer window, no excuses. If Levy jerks AVB around, then I think AVB should leave because he deserves better.
