I guess you don't remember me saying Bale was angry with DL and left the meeting fuming after he told DL he wanted out. Also his injury during pre-season was BS. He trained on his own and was perfectly fit.

Anyway it's all old news. No point bringing up Bale.

Speaking of Bale, did anyone mention if Levy managed to weave his magic and get CL winners add on in Bale deal?

Lunch break at work, can somebody give me a recap of today's ITK info.

I expect it's been a busy hectic day.

JJ's retweet was taking the piss lol
Well Mystery is considered an ITK still so going by him, we are back on de Boer again today

IMHO, Danny boy is playing it smart and waiting until after the weekend to see what happens with Ancelotti. If he's sacked, I imagine Levy will be on the phone the next second with him to try to get him on board.

Probably being incredibly optimistic here, but I'm hoping that Levy has already spoken to Ancelotti...at least enough to know whether or not it's worth waiting around to see what happens after the CL final.

Either that or he's waiting for Moyes to get back from Mount Doom.

That's actually a very good point, an investment entrepreneur doesn't make a calculated move to wait for a prospect without at least assessing possibilities.

If Real Madrid give Ancelotti another year maybe we should get an interim manager for a year with a view to signing him up next summer.

Maybe we could promote a coach from the youth academy, give him an 18 month contract as a sweetner, I'm sure he'd be fine for a year....

For me that's the only excuse for not appointing a manager by the end of this week, they've had plenty of time

Jasper was riffing over at SO yesterday & some of it made a little sense, so i've tried to edit it into something vaguely understandable:
...all is agreed to my understanding with Pochy; did say we are still talking to FDB, believe his original[...]terms were not to our liking but that's an opinion rather than fact. Stated few days ago expect announcement this week from [club]... Pochy['s] people [were] at our last home game. I have not heard that it is done with FDB as some are saying.
Few weeks ago it was expected [that] LVG was going to be our manager, as all was agreed and that... is facts [sic]. Initially...we pursued [a] few candidates with strong liking [for] Pochy, as FDB initial comments and terms [were] not to our liking. We then advanced talks with Pochy with compensation agreement imminent; FDB came back into the picture Thursday/Friday [15th/16th].
...agents leaking info and using us to get better deals for their client (manager at presiding club[?!]) it is honestly best to wait for an official announcement. We all thought LVG was nailed on (as it was) but look what happened.
There are other names which may intrigue... This is a no-brainer as you would expect loads of interesting applications. This is bring kept very close to the chest. It was expected last week that we wanted to complete [our] negotiations with preferred who I believed was Pochy and announce new manager within a week.
FDB was not at Hotspur Way today, and chairman was actually at the ground today.
No deal signed with FDB...
