I rated friendly due to the fact that there is no brown nose rating. Also given A+C's story's of poo are not the most pleasant at the best of times, there are better places to put your nose!

Initially I was against the idea of Hooper but just thought about it and I was also opposed to us making a move for Jelavic - both based purely on their scoring records being in the SPL. Jelavic has proved me wrong so Hooper might be worth a punt then, 8mil is a bit steep though if we could get him for 4/5mil could prove an astute purchase. How old is he 23/24?

I know Llorente is being touted for less but its pretty clear he wont entertain us so no point on dwelling on that one.

Agree to an extent but the worry for me is more that there is a very long list of people who have scored for fun in the SPL and really struggled in the Championship let alone the Prem. Jelavic has been an exception rather than the rule.

Did anyone else realise that Gary Hooper was a very young youth team player at Tottenham..? If we were interested, that might make it swing in our favour... Personally, I let my biased views of the poor nature of the SPL cloud my judgement on the quality of players so really don't have a clue if he is up to our standard...

To be honest mate, i couldnt name you 1 person who isnt convinced by Michu....

Hooper is a very good finisher, we could do worse if we are looking at relatively cheap alternatives. Like I said 8mil is a bit steep but if we could do a deal around 5mil it could prove a good buy.

last season Jelavic looked like a great buy....this season(especially last night) he looked crap.
Apart from scoring against us he's done buggar all this year.

If Gary Hooper can make the transition from the SPL as well as the likes of Fletcher and Jelavic, signing him could be a masterstroke.
