I can see it now on deadline day. Baldini sat in a room with Lamela and his agent ready to finalise the transfer. Bale and his agent in Madrid ready to sign, and Daniel Levy holding him back until we get confirmation of Lamela signing. Lamela signs minutes before the window closes, Bale signs for Madrid but it's too late the window is closed.

would be a great wish, but someone posted on here the other day that the Spanish window closes on the 31st

just hope we don't sell Bale before sunday, I don't get to the lane to often, and think if he is gone physically by then it might dampen the atmosphere a little
