Remember when we spent £30M on Soldado the proven striker?

I'll judge Sissoko if, or when, I see him in a Spurs shirt and not by the amount we pay for him.

While there have to be major misgivings about Sissoko given the way he's (not) played for Newcastle over the past couple of years, it's worth remembering that this time last year we'd all dismissed Dembele as a busted flush who would never reach his potential - in the space of a season Pochettino turned him into one of the best midfielders in the league. If - and it's a big if - he can do a similar job on Sissoko, I've no doubt there's a fantastic player in there somewhere.

According to L'Équipe, Moussa Sissoko is currently undergoing a medical with London club Tottenham, ahead of a £30m move. He will sign a 5 year deal in the coming minutes.

Should have gone on Mane earlier in the window in my opinion, but let's hope Poch get's the best out of him

All those saying we should have just spent that on Isco are ignoring the fact that he obviously didn't want to join and Sissoko does.

He is a machine tbf and Poch loves players like that and has worked wonders with Dembele. Plus he was good in the Euros and is always good on Fifa.

Fuck it I'm onboard I'm off to get Moussa Sissoko tattooed on my knob.

They do micro tattooing now then

Just got to ignore the price tag. Forget it. Doesn't matter. Do that & it feels ok. Not our money, Fuck it

We're doing what we always do on deadline day - lurch around for the scraps every other big club has behind, only this time we're doing at a quite astonishingly inflated price.

It sucks.

What's the point of penny pinching all summer only to get into a £30m bidding war with Everton for a 27 year old consistently inconsistent player from a relegated team at 10.15pm on deadline day?

Because Everton have now pulled out based on our interest, and Sissoko's refusal to answer the phone.
Paves the way for us to try and bring the fee down again.

Sissoko is a good signing. He can rip teams up and he made the £80 million Pogba look average against a team better than anything we will face in Germany. Yes he is inconsistent but we love Poch because he is a great coach and can get the best out of players. I for one am excited. Poch wants him and that is all we need to know. COYS

FFS. I'm will have to trust Poch on this one because I don't rate Sissoko at all. I don't think anyone can say Levy hasn't backed his manager after breaking our transfer record for a squad player.
