Duped by Levy once again? All the talk of us spending money and JL investing £50m... only to finish the window with a net profit and losing our best player? What's new then?

Get a grip! Even without anymore signings this has been an incredible window.

I don't see the fascination with signing Coentrao or another left back. I personally feel that Rose has performed better than Walker so far this season and without any takers for BAE we'd be fine with him as back-up. I'd rather sell Ade and bring in a young, raw striker who actually put himself about a bit, as an alternative option to Soldado.

I think Rose has done well but I've been really impressed with the newly-concentrating and focused Walker. However, as for Rose the fact remains that BAE and I are similarly in AVB's plans so we need competition for that place. It's that simple. Naughton looks much more comfortable at RB so I'd consider him Walker's cover.

Would rather BAE than Rose everyday of the week...
Rose is not a Top 4 player by any stretch ..
Looked good at Sunderland for one reason...they are shit.
New LB has got to be priority !!

The last transfer windows have been like having a wank but near the end hearing the key go to the front door and being left in a state of frustration, confusion and desperation all rolled into one.

Try running out into the back garden next time, hop, skip and 5 power blatter.

When factoring this in you might want to consider wages on top of transfer spend, it won't be a profit then!

We've bought in 7 quality players and we'll break even. If you think we've been 'duped' then i'm genuinely not sure what else you'd want?

We've replaced him...
Did we replace the goals he scored? Doesn't look like it so far. We haven't score from open play in 270 minutes this season. We're clueless in the final third and we keep relying on shots from outside the box.

So just like last season then? - Think Bales shots were mainly outside of the box too.

If you wish we could have arsenals chairman. sell our best players year in year out and spend none of it?

You're very lucky that the negs are off mate. Being one of those people in the minority that thinks Levy is a an excellent chairman who makes the odd guff now and again, I can't for the life of me see where he's gone wrong this window. Do you think that Wenger would have gone out and spent £100m+ on players?

What the actual fuck? I will tell you what is new, adding 7 international players, breaking our transfer record not once but 3 times and addressing real areas of weakness. There is no pleasing some people, and post like yours make me embarrassed to say I support the same club as you tbh.

Like I said, we were told we're going to spend 50m or so from uncle Joe's money. So far, we spend none of it. Of course, there are still 11 or so more hours and things can change. But what I see is we've a net spend of zero. That's what I mean when I said duped.

there is no doubt that our squad is stronger than it was last season, and once they all settle in we should be just fine. On that basis its been a really good window

however it is in danger of ending with Bale leaving and Arsenal signing Ozil (quality signing) and maybe others, so we are all going to feel disappointed tonight

Glad you are able to make these judgements after 3 PL games. Nevermind the fact that Eriksen hasn't even stepped foot on the pitch yet and Lamela has only played a whole 15 minutes or so.

Not like Soldado has played 4 games and scored 4 goals is it either.
