Regarding this cryptic "jaw dropping"-player. Doesn`t Hulk also bite? At least the action hero, Hulk, I think. It would be jaw dropping. If there is a world class star coming today, I can`t imagine it will be Suarez, Mata or Özil (who seems ready for Arse). Hulk might be realistic..

But until now, I havn`t read anything about any world class player who have been linked to us. Only Coentrao (I guess he is world class, but a LB). Have someone seen anything else in the press?

I think that Chadli had a reasonable game, it is early doors, and he is not going to be playing in a local derby every week. The Scum put pressure on us at every moment, and TBH we could not deal with it. Another 10 games of playing together and I think we will see a completely different team.

I am just a little worried about Townsend getting a bit of Defoe Fever, the first game against Tblisi was his best for me, and funnily enough when he was at his least selfish.

and I am a little upset about some of the flack Rose is getting. I think that he had a reasonable game, he is still learning his trade, and if I had one concerns it that he did not seem to get much cover or support from Vertonghen or Dawson. IMO he is good enough to play first team (maybe not a shoe i starter every week) but he need game time to get better, and Daws & Verts, or whoever is in CD needs to make sure he is OK.

Sure, makes sense. Don't think he can play up top on his own, though, and he'd be too much of a direct competitor for Lamela - why have our two record signings compete for 1 position - unless we're thinking any 3 of Lamela, Eriksen, Hulk, Chadli, Holtby, Townsend behind Soldado..

..and usually it matters.

Moutinho, Damaio, Levy's wheelbarrow.
Just to name a few. We have 'failed' many times, for every VDV there were Saha and Nelsen.

Today: doesn't matter. We have 'learnt lessons' and 'got business done early'

Today is like Christmas. We've already received some great presents early but we're now at the end of the day waiting for Dad (Daniel Levy) to give us one more big present. Yesterday we lost our great grandparent (Bale) which put a downer on things but we've been expecting it for a while now sadly.

Yep ........see Ryan Nelson and Louis Saha as massive deadline day let downs. Think things have changed since then thankfully though!
