I'm starting to wonder if the plan is to go to a 343 after all. Davies becomes LCB and then we have 2 options at LWB and 2 options at RWB + Serge who we've clearly been trying to shift.

you what

If Aurier isn't leaving I'd kind of rather we just re-integrated him then spent the Emerson money elsewhere (a creative playmaker and bumping up the money for Adama).

It speaks volumes that no one wants him

There have been clubs mate, he's turned them down. The feeling is he's trying to get out dirt cheap in order to maximise his own gains.
Pretty ****ish behaviour from a Spurs fan perspective, but objectively there's nothing to stop him looking after his own personal interests. Moving country/city for another job isn't a decision to be taken lightly so you would want to choose the place that you like, to work for the company you like, for the pay package you like. His gamble is that if he turns down too many offers he might be left with no decent options and then have to stay at the club he wants to leave, but this time he won't be playing. Good luck finding decent offers in future windows after that.

while moves for Wolves Adama Traore or Ruben Neves are deemed unlikely

I must admit, I would be (very) positively surprised if we made any more successful moves now.

If we did, it would turn a good window into a great window, but at this point I think it would be very difficult to achieve

Mate are you seriously using their current position (8th btw) after 4 games as what to define them as? By that logic we are champions elect right? Come on dude you are better than that.

I didn't see him get bullied at all. I saw him making run after run and the team behind him that had never played together before couldn't get a single decent ball into him.

If you feel like Scarlett is a capable backup then fine.

I just think he's not ready to be consistently relied upon if we get a big injury to Kane/Son.

It's imperative we sign another forward player.

Are people really moaning that we signed a first choice RB?

Who cares how many we have in the squad. Aurier is gone either today or next window, Doherty is woeful and Tanganga is raw/ also a CB/ is defensive.

I think its more to do with it impacting a budget and being better spent elsewhere..if that's the case.

Emerson is a brilliant signing stop worrying about how many fricking right backs we have. If Aurier doesn’t leave then he doesn’t play simple. Emerson improves the first 11 without a doubt

I don't believe that Emerson is such an upgrade on Aurier to use limited resources on.

The reason to sell Aurier is simply that he only has a year left on his contract.

If it was due to ability then I'm sure most would agree that Doherty should be the 1st one out of the door.

To be fair, I know a lot about Pacos and they are not the same team as last season. Notably because they lost players and the coach who got then 5th moved to a bigger club.

Scarlett will need to be eased in to PL football and I hope we don't get to a situation where he has expectation on him because Kane and Son are out.

Sky reporting Aurier could be an option for Real Betis who I thought were signing Bellerin
I believe the latest report had Bellerin possibly going to Barcelona, hence Betis could well be interested.
