There seems to be far less concern about us getting our hands greasy with Mendes than there was a couple of months ago, that's for sure!

Shame is this is how we have to do business now, but maybe that's just where football is at. I don't like it though, and certainly wouldn't like it if the boot were ever to be on the other foot. Here's hoping it isn't.

Oh no I'm still not happy this is whats happening, but I know there's fuck all I can do about it. It's a bit like the transfer window. If we get the players we need we get them, if not there is nothing we can do about it. Crying about it in every 3rd post you make won't change anything.

TDD upon us once again, thanks for all the ITK! Definitely one of the things that has helped drag me (and many others, no doubt) away from the apathy of last season.

Would I be a bit disappointed if we don't do anything else after Emerson? Probably, yes - but then again I thought Doherty was good business and that Tanguy would set the world alight. There's not a huge amount of objectivity or perspective when it comes to transfer windows, everyone goes crazy between when it's rumoured and when it's announced and then almost forgets about it when it's done. We've managed to shift quite a few out, more than we would normally I think. Lots to be positive about (without getting carried away).

Cut to me at 22.30 being emotionally crushed by a transfer falling through for a player I'd only heard of 15 minutes before.

We are still working on traore it’s not dead but difficult it’s down to us to meet there high price ! Is he worth it ?

Traore is no Kane but his worth to Wolves is just as high as Kane is to us - so... can't blame Wolves at all for pricing him out of our reach tbh.

Have any of the other guys been through him? I don't think so.

To expect us to do no business with him is naive and short sighted. As long as its only the odd one then I see no issue.

I'm very optimistic about today and regardless of anymore incoming i am happy with what we have (i'm including Emerson in this)
Traore would be icing on the cake but i am in no way confident he will be a Spurs player by 11pm this evening.
