He contracted it from his hat.So Ade deliberately contracted malaria to avoid Poch's tough regime?
That is so typical of him
I suppose he is used to training with the U21 squad...The various newspaper reports state it's only a mild bout and he'll be released from hospital tomorrow and can resume training in 7 days.
Me too. Apparently he is close to joining Lazio for 7m. For the price it would cost to get Lovren, we could get De Vrij, Schar and Origil. Buying from EPL clubs is crazy.we've had itk on defenders, yes?
if so i'm amazed we've heard nothing on de vrij. top class defender, will be right minged off if lazio get him without a push

surely we've got some scouts on players like these, i know they're not going to find the next thuram as they're not clairvoyants but a basic interest being shown in these kind of players would be nice
moreso than micah richards at least
I doubt it. It will be more to do with Poch having a look at players to see what he needs first IMO. Even last season when we had a manager that knew the team well, at this stage we had only made 1 signing.I hate today's John Cross mirror article but with the amount of delay in sealing deals - I wonder are we really cash strapped ? Surely couldn't be the case?!

TBH, I think it is less of a gamble than buying before Poch has assessed the squad. There seems to be a lot of bargains to be had and I hope we go into full transfer flow when we get back from USA.Poch looking at players is a sensible explanation. But still, I think we are going to have frenzy dead line day moves. I guess we are in for a gamble and hoping it pays of with whom we get.
